Do the Flyers look to package their 2 first round picks in the upcoming draft along with one of their extra second round picks to move up in the draft to get a center? Also, what defensemen become trade deadline pieces? It seems like they have some d-men with a lot of potential. Does the acquisition of Drysdale and Bonk in the pipeline make d-men like Helge Grans, Emil Andrae, and Adam Ginning valuable/attractive trade commodities. (Sorry to refer to a human being as a "commodity")
Now the Flyers need to make it a top priority to sign the player at U of Denver. The one they traded for from Carolina. He's leading all NCAA scoring this season, including Cutter.
They seem to be doung fine defensively. Maybe not top notch, but look at the power kill and their shot blocking. Need offense help. I would rather have traded for an offensive player. But then, im glad im not a GM. :-)
As someone who grew up watching the Flyers cycle through goalie after goalie in the 90s and basically until Hart showed up, I highly disagree. If you have a reliable franchise goalie for the first time in about 25 years, KEEP HIM. He could realistically play well for another decade, as goalies have later primes than skaters.
@@laboom60 For that to happen they would have to complete miss on: Ersson, Kolosov, Bjarnason and Zavragin. Thats two 2nd rounder, 3rd rounder and 5th rounder. The Flyers are clearly have intensions of moving past Hart. Note: this doesn't factor in Fedotov who still has outside chance to play with Flyers are some point.
the Flyer villan list is getting intresting. doubles. #1 picks families: lindros and Gauthier . ceo/presidents: jay snider and dave scott. gm's (leaving russ farwell off) hextall and fletcher. traded players off one team: carter and richards unwelcomed back ufa's: hayes and bryzgolov scolded media members: donellon and sielski.....

This current organization values D and goaltending. If Iwas building a team thats where I would start not to mention he should help the offense.
It’s looking like Flyers will need to trade Carter Hart to generate assets for another top line C prospect.

Um no. I don’t want the early 2000s all over again 😂
