  • Scott Ritter is a former Marine intelligence officer who served in the former Soviet Union, implementing arms control agreements, and on the staff of General Norman Schwartzkopf during the Gulf War, where he played a critical role in the hunt for Iraqi SCUD missiles. From 1991 until 1998, Mr. Ritter served as a Chief Inspector for the United Nations in Iraq, leading the search for Iraq’s proscribed weapons of mass destruction. Mr. Ritter was a vocal critic of the American decision to go to war with Iraq. His new book, Disarmament in the Time of Perestroika: Arms Control and the End of the Soviet Union, is his ninth.

I recall last year when Scott encouraged the people of Georgia to go to their state capital and remove the EU flag that the anti government protesters put up on the flagpole after they removed the Georgia flag. Scott said that the people should not let the EU or the NGOs take over their government. The next day, Georgian patriots went and pulled down the offending EU flag and rightfully replaced it with the flag of Georgia. People listen to these podcasts, and Scott is a great motivator.

I love the way Maj. Scott Ritter describe himself as a simple Marine, but we all know that coming from a tough neighborhood and growing up during the Cold war Era, I am more than impressed with his train of thought about history and geopolitics matter. Therefore, if our leaders are not humble enough to listen to a simple Marine, then I am sure we're more closer to meet our creator, no matter what is your fate. One more thing I want to said is that everyone is entitled to a second chance and we are all playing Russia roulette. Mr. Scott Ritter my greatest respect for you and bless your family. Completely wrong,, I agree there are dictatorships in the west but they are ruled by manufactured consent and not despotry... the maga lunatic propaganda coming out of Washington think tanks like the Heritage Foundation are about trying to form a hard fascist neocon dictatorship, where a lunatic grifter is empowered for life and that dictator pursues policies that would be thought lunatic even 10 years ago... The neoliberals have a slightly different domestic program,, but they're only one half of the duopoly football game dynamic that in America anyway keeps people thinking that they have some input into the political system when in reality they have absolutely no input into America's international imperial policies... the right-wing is genuinely stupid enough to think that some lunatic like The Dumpster can legislate social initiatives like LBGTQ and BLM and women's rights,, when these are social phenomena that will go on no matter what political party is currently occupying the administration... But since the Heritage Foundation wants total chaos inside the United States so they can do whatever they want internationally, the neoliberals just play their part on the other side of the coin and meanwhile both parties because both parties are owned by Wall Street keep pushing Russia and China trying to economically run the table on the world into forever......

Scott, i admire your assessment and idea on what is best for Ukraine and Russia. A healthy Ukraine is a viable Ukraine and a safe neighbour for Russia. I suspect that is where China comes in to help. To help Ukraine to be economically healthy and prosperous.

Scott Ritter refers to ASML (Veldhoven in the Netherlands), they make the lithography-machines which TSMC, Intel and Qualcomm use. These lithography-machines are basically very fancy photography-machines, they make pictures and based on where the light did and did not fall (by using a transparant sheet in between the light and the plate) you get different chemical reactions, that allows to deposit metals and take away layers of silicon. In a nutshell this is how computer-chips get made.
I am not a programmer but I am pretty handy with and knowledgeable about software. Scott is right, Russia has those skilled 'hackers' because Russia has skilled programmers. A hacker is simply somebody who understands certain technology well enough that he has control over it, like how a lockpicker can open a lock withtout a key or forcing anything by understanding the mechanism of the key-lock system. Same deal with software and hardware, if you understand the system then you can find a way in. Having said that, you definitely don't need to be a skilled programmer to be a skilled hacker, you can get far with limited programming skills by simply using tools which other people used, but you do need enough of those skilled programmers so that you get access to such tools. Modern software got so complex that there always are vulnerabilities. It is very difficult to get rid of those without losing a lot of features which we like.

EXACTLY,, many people who in my opinion view the situation rationally ask what would happen if Russia or China tried placing their forward based strategic weapons in Texas and encouraged the government of Texas to break away from the United States... My point is that at least Texas had been a sovereign Nation for a decade or so, whereas Ukraine was never an independent country and has always been a part of greater Russia...

@@buddyboyingtonesq.231 Depends... If the people and politicians and oligarchs of California had a referendum right now to break away from the United States, how do you think Washington would handle it? Leaving aside the fact that California has both the Concord military ocean terminal and seal Beach naval strategic weapons depots as well as many highly important military bases and even storage spots for the nuclear arsenal,, the 37 million people of California could definitely get by on the world stage as an independent country however the bulk of the military industrial complex oligarchs residing in the East as well as the obvious interest of the governmental structure in Washington would simply not allow it...
@buddyboyingtonesq.231 I don't think you realize what it means for Ukraine to be in NATO and the cutthroat capitalist financial structure of wall Street's European division... Ukraine is already being chopped up and sold and securitized on Wall Street with the actor stooge "president" Beglensky leading the plunder,, and do you think he cares or the Ukrainian stooge regime cares how many ukrainians are killed or how much stuff is destroyed? It doesn't matter to them because they're just selling the land,, as well as all the agricultural and mineral and other commodity resource bases that are on the land,, and this is what's in store for all of Russia if President Putin's regime is gone... Wall Street wants to turn Russia into the Asian Central america, a bunch of resource-rich, politically unstable stooge regimes ALL dancing to wall Street's tune,, so the Wall Street pirates can control the tap on Russian energy into Europe, and run the table on resources to China into forever....... It's not going to work,, because even though there are greedy people and politicians and oligarchs in Russia, they are NATIONALIST greedy people and politicians and oligarchs so the money they make is going to stay in Russia...
@buddyboyingtonesq.231 AND IT'S THE SAME with Taiwan : Wall Street can buy off sleazy local politicians in Taiwan, even a few pathetically greedy generals and other Military officers to form the skeleton of the ASEAN infrastructure in Taiwan, giving this stooge collaborator Force some American weapons however the Chinese are making clear right now that they could overrun Taiwan in an hour if they really wanted to... And Wall Street is STILL too stupid to understand,, even if American corporations transferred machinery initially to enable the Taiwanese electronics industry to attain dominance in quantity and quality, who else have they got to blame but themselves? Do they expect the oligarchs who are controlling the millions of electronics workers on Taiwan to NOT transfer this technology to mainland China which is now out - producing Taiwan?

    "The eastern Ukrainians who fled..."
Yes Sir, here is one hero of our times and that is ME:
end of December 2014, I got in contact with a young family of four, who had moved to Germany, south of Berlin. The woman had gotten a job as a doctor. They came from Saparosche and were afraid, that the husband might be drafted, sent into the Donbass and come back with a tag on his toe.
They had rented a flat and there was nothing inside, just a mattrass.
So I parted with about one fourth of my household items:
a bed, chairs, table, other furniture, carpets, sofa, lamps, cutlery, towels, toys for the two children, everything you need for a decent life. I rented a van a took these things 400 km across Germany towards their flat.
Anybody here done something alike, except wildly posting "rururu" in the internet?

i belive the end will be a situation like East and West germany . A vertical line almost on top of kiev that seperate the ukraine into and east one and a west one .
The east part will be starting to prosper almost emediately while the west part wil be left to his fate with out any support from the west . And that up to the point where their citizens will see how good life is on east , and from the 'hunger" will hope to be part of the east . And after years where the climate will be mature the people will eventualy elect a govermen from people who want to be part of a friendly neighbor with russia . Most of the people will move to the east side , while remember the west part which legaly will be ukraine will be the part in debt , the remaining land that left after the "war" that has to pay back all the financial help they had recive for this 'war' .

The Russian Armed Forces attacked the Yavorovsky training ground in the Lviv region
TG channels reported this, noting that the strike was carried out by a hypersonic Kinzhal missile. At the time of the attack, there were instructors from NATO countries and more than 300 military personnel at the training ground. Previously, up to 100 foreigners were killed.
🇺🇦 The Yavorovsky training ground is a key logistics hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was involved in the transfer of Western armored vehicles, air defense systems and ammunition for artillery and air defense systems. It is located close to the Polish border and was used for extensive deployment and training of troops.
The “Dagger” strike was carried out almost immediately after reports of the transfer of French military personnel to the Lviv region.
