It’s literally his job. You play for money, not for ego. If you have a whale at the table and they cooler you, you take it on the chin and keep them playing. Even if they rub it in, just tap the table and say nice hand. (Suvarna was class here tho)
I'm no poker expert, but I hate the over bet on the river there. Seems like you can only get called/ raised by a better hand, and you fold out all the AA/ QQ that could maybe call a smaller bet
agree. also, overbet puts you in a terrible position to get reraised allin for 40% equity. Later, only reason to call all-in is if you think Suvarna is bluffing. If Robl think Suvarna's going to bluff then there's also no reason to overbet.
he s surely thinking Santosh cant have AK having checked back turn. but with AK also firmly in Robl s range maybe that river overbet is too much of an ask from hands like QQ and JJ.
They usually own stakes of each other to smooth out the variance and some players are sponsored and only playing for a portion. It's hard to know how much is actually their money.

What would you like him to do fold for 95k on the river? No other river size makes sense, maybe 80%, but never folding either.
@@Detective313 nope I’m right friendo, nice try. Very difficult to get 3 streets of value from worse, Robl can put opponent in nasty spot on turn w/ c/r as he is going to have far more 4x, don’t have to risk failing to deny too much equity either, worse case is a flush draw which still bricks the vast majority of the time
Not a fan of the 1.5x river bet. I think checking or making a small bet is probably the move here. The over-bet allows flushes to correctly fold on the double paired board, QQ and JJ can probably get away, the only hand you can bet like this and get called by here is AA exactly without the A of spades. So 3 combos exactly. WAAAAAAY to thin. I actually really like Santhosh’s check on the turn. Keeps the under pairs in Robel’s range on the river. I think we all know the Robel was bombing the turn if Santhosh had bet.
Cleary Robl felt that a player with Suvarna's range couldn't have a flush draw, or a hand with a King leading out like that on the river. Yikes man. Gotta go in check call mode with that run out.
This is a reality check for people who think they can make a living out of playing poker. These are usually the bad beats that will make or break your bankroll.
Anyone else thinks that ROBL did a mistake by betting 300K on the river.. the only cards calling him is beating him anyway... Queens, Jacks, even Aces are folding his 300K bet there.. and the way he had raised pre-flop... he had to have a Queens or AK or AA
Why Robl bet 300k into 200k pot. Santosh could have AK, KK. I know it's not easy to fold with having second nut here. AK is nut. KK is only one combo. What a sick running K. 😅
Just how rich is Robl that he shrug called 95k more without thinking much? I mean Santosh might be a whale but I don't see him shoving over an overbet without a K there. He could legit have saved 95k even though he's getting 9 to1.

Bad luck here once for Robl, however a real pro wouldn't lose a 1 mill pot after there is only 200k in the pot after the river. There is literally no reason to raise 300k in a 200k pot here with a 4. That should always be either a check or a 1/3 pot bet to target a high pocket pair.

This is a rare treat him getting brutalized like that.
Although, there is one where he ran quad 9s against quad Q's in a tournament against C. Lewis.
