Everyone makes these cute little guys look so easy to make! However after trying out my daughters Christmas polymer clay I've found that it's way harder then you'd realize lol Great job with Snowball! Totally going to give this one a try!
Yes! It is hard as a rock. Sculpey air dry or bake is much more pliable! Any air dry is usually soft as well but many brands aside from sculpey are too light and soft for detail!

Creative Rachy I get so much dust and particulate IN my clay, as I'm working I get discouraged and I usually don't finish the project. I use other colors but miss the ones that show.

How do you get the mouth that thin it's really complicated for me
@Creative Rachy May I ask what you do so the clay becomes hard and workable? I use fimo and my clay is always too soft, even when I use the professional line. Do you leech your clay? I'm bummed out because the clay won't do what I want.

Just saying guys, if you don't have a needle tool then you can just use a normal needle, I find it easy to use one, be careful tho 😊

how fragile are the charms? if i put it in my backpack im afraid one of the ears of tail might fall off. what should i put in between the attachments to the main body to make sure no part falls off after baking?
If I was to put something on a backpack, keep it simple and compact with no long thin pieces that would easily break off, like the tail for example. You can also use wire inside any bits the stick out to keep them strong and connected :)

What kind of glaze do you use over them when finished baking? I know some can cause the clay to become mushy?
Yes some glaze react with the clay and they become sticky- I use polyurethane along with most other crafters
I'm made my out of play doh because it was a cute charm and it look just like your and it was on the first try

new to this. why dont the small clay pieces come apart after baking since some weretlnt blended? mouth etc?
Polymer clay is very strong and not everything needs to be blended- I mainly do it so there are no joins. Plus the glaze over top of the facial features keep them in place :)
