The NYS Website still states all 36 hours are through live or instructor interactive courses.

I just read NYSED Laws, Rules & Regulations, Article 145, Professional Engineering, Section 7211 Mandatory Continuing Education for prof..............
Section 2.............stating thirty-six hours of acceptable continuing education.............. and Section 4 describing what acceptable means.......no mention of live or interactive or classroom

I confirmed the rule change with the board - they told me that live instruction is no longer required. Their website is confusing and has old information that still indicates 18 hours of live courses are required.

Thanks for the confirmation. I went with that assumption.

"Our regulations changed effective 1/1/2022 allowing all hours to now be on-line/self-studying going forward [.....] We are in the process of having our website update with the new information."
