Been binge watching these guys for years. Took a break and now looking in again. Andrea has matured in every respect (though that is not to say she wasn't always remarkable and brilliant!). Josep is a pleasure to watch on guitar as always (though never so much as when he arrived for "My Favorite Things" session and left his skateboard and gear strewn on the studio floor while he got to work!.) Maestro Chamorro's obvious pleasure in the whole venture is clearly undiminished through the years. Marc Martin does a fine job on piano, as do the sax and drum players too! Bravo!
Jazz is a great companion through life, as you can see (and HEAR) in this newly uplaid music. So nice again to meet all these musicans, it is as meeting old friends again.

Great performance! Until today, I only knew the version from the Modern Jazz Quartet (which is slower, more mellow, and more sly). I love the edge and energy of Joan Chamorro's group. Thanks from the USA.

Lorsqu'on écoute une nième interprétation d'un thème aussi célèbre il peut arriver cependant qu'on aie le flash: là c'est le cas, Andréa tire le groupe d'une extraordinaire façon, son solo de trompette est superbe, elle stimule tout le monde et chacun donne le meilleur de lui même, un rare et immense plaisir! Merci à tous, c'est trop beau.

Of course good musicians, as always, but sorry, I don't like the arrangement. It's too fast: the song title says: *softly* . Much of the beauty of this wonderful song gets lost by rushing. In the course of the years jazz performers played this faster and faster. I even heard versions with extremely aggressive solo's. OK, jazz is about expressing your own voice in a composition, but one should at least respect some of the mood.
Andre needs a wardrobe consultant.... just sayin
