Thanks Kevin. I was able to resolve things with the seller. He accidentally sent "my" card to someone else who bought another copy of the card he had. He refunded my money right away, so I'll be looking to find another copy. It stinks that the Mets got blown out in Game 1, although if they were going to lose I'd rather it be a blowout than losing a close game that they should have won. Game 2 will be big as they need to bounce back and split the games in LA.

As a fellow Cowboys fan, I'm now looking forward to the draft, it's the one thing we seem to do well. I happen to have all 3 of those '78 Topps cards you're still looking for. The Moltor/Trammel and Murray are in SGC slabs, graded 7 and 6.5 respectively. The Carew is raw and a little off-center, but otherwise in great condition. If you think you might be interested in any of those, let me know and I can send pictures.

I already have all the hall of famers from the set in either a PSA 8 or 9 (except for the Murray and Molitor/Trammell cards that I have in a PSA 6). But that's a separate project from the ungraded set I'm building.
Oh, shots fired at the Phillies 😅 Though my Orioles ended up not fairing any better. A rough outing for Mets tonight, but it's a best of seven. The Mets have had a great year. I have no horse in the race, though I do like Shoehi, and want to see him perform on, the biggest stage.
Oh you should have heard Philly fans talk trash at the start of the Mets series. Both sides hate each other, but it's all good. Yeah, the Mets took one on the chin in Game 1. If you are going to lose, it's better to get blown out than a heartbreak late-inning loss. We'll see what they do in Game 2.
True. Sorry if I insinuated that they were extra games to decide the playoffs. They were regularly scheduled games that were makeup games because of rain that were played after the other teams finished playing their games.
