If you guys get anymore calls please record them! Maybe from a driver Point of View as well or from a helmet camera of when you guys get out of the truck
Thomas Callen It's just what the separate services have bought, in Sydney FRNSW is primarily permanent fire fighters so they use more expensive and somewhat better equipped Scania Type 3 pumpers, where as RFS are all volunteers except for office staff so they use Isuzu Tankers, as they cost less and aren't used as much as FRNSW Pumpers. FRNSW also runs Retained Stations outside Sydney who use Isuzu Type 2 pumpers.
5 years later and I still laughed on his reaction when Runner 1 was sent.
Interesting POV from the opposite side of the road, especially when making right turns!
“Runner 1?” LOL 😂😂

Fire & Rescue St Mary's Done! Please keep the videos coming mate!
I Like the fact that FRNSW Replaced many Class 3 pumpers with Scanias... Much more reliable appliance than those Varleys.. muucch better truck.
I do believe that most if not all the scanias are class 4 pumps.
Im adamant they are both Class 3 and Class 4 pumps.
Varleys are way better. they can hold more crew. and look better
Got to love AFAs
Another one like this coming ?? Keep up the good work
Why does FRNSW use Scania and RFS ISUZU?
Thomas Callen It's just what the separate services have bought, in Sydney FRNSW is primarily permanent fire fighters so they use more expensive and somewhat better equipped Scania Type 3 pumpers, where as RFS are all volunteers except for office staff so they use Isuzu Tankers, as they cost less and aren't used as much as FRNSW Pumpers. Isuzu's are better for off road and 4wd use. Scania's have better pumping abilities and are better suited for urburn use.
What ever happened to the rule move to the left and stop.
