It definitely took some convincing and exposure for me to get into thrifting too, but once you dive in, you’re hooked (as I’m sure you know!!!) once you start finding incredible pieces you can’t stop 😆 that’s where I’m at right about now. Carla Park that is the BEST place to get it! They usually have the regular cans of the Rustoleum spray paint for $3.98 each...but sometimes they have a display close by in the same paint section with the cans that have 25% more product for the same price! Typically only in black or white, but that can work to your advantage if you like either color 🙌🏼

I may have to incorporate the full answer in an upcoming video, but in short - I have always been drawn to statement furniture pieces that have exaggerated curved lines in very simple forms. I love the drama and contrast of black/white in a space and playing up the light and dark in a room. Also, mixing old/new world objects and marrying modern art and sculpture with busts or crystal objects. This is certainly a style I have curated over some time and I am extremely thoughtful about the pieces I source. Thank you for the huge complement 🙏🏼✨

Wow, Will! I bet your sourced finds are gorgeous 🤩 I’ve only purchased a few items from Etsy overseas but nothing that was true Art Deco in style. The French/Parisian Art Deco style is really beautiful...a lot of ornate mounding that I would like to have one day in my home. Living in an apartment I’m unable to incorporate that level of detail into my display but fingers crossed one day soon I’ll be able to bring my full vision to life 🙌🏼

RN Video I’m so glad you appreciate the Art Deco style! For the most part this look is filled with statement furniture pieces that have exaggerated curved lines in very simple forms. Mixing old world with new world is VERY good, and this style of design always incorporates modern art or sculptures/busts. Also black and white contrasting accents! I saw the larger of the two mirrors previously on FB marketplace a few weeks back but it was much further away and 5x as expensive...needless to say, it was a total blessing that it just happened to make an appearance by a different seller who was closer and for a much more reasonable price! Beau, you REALLY scored with those mirrors ! 2nd hand decor is a great way to recycle. I go to Habitat for Humanity Restore and my local Goodwill's regularly and find AWESOME pieces. I find that curating the design for my homes interiors over time is so much more satisfying than just going to a furniture store and buying the floor display. Of all the home decor channels I watch, your style is the closet to mine. I'm looking for a floor length mirror that's ornate. For me, to break up my leather, glass, black, iron and wood, I might get a wood or gold mirror. NOT SURE THO'. YOUR'S IS STUNNING ! Confusion 😟Wish me luck on the sites. 😀

Love your mirrors oh my God I have 2 like that at home and they look great on my wall there Still Golden.. guess I’m gonna have to look for some flat black spray.. ....suggestion for spray painting on a patio balcony is to buy a small pop-up ( child’s)tent that can quickly fold down or that collapse ,you can stick the item inside an the overspray stays contained in the tent, then you can store it flatten outside or hidden somewhere..Great job the apartment is beautiful👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yes unfortunately our Homegoods does not sell those busts here in my area of Florida which is pretty surprising but I’ve definitely have been looking for a Gilt mirror for a while now I really Wish we had a HomeSense here in Florida I hope we get one here one day. It can be a bit intimidating to go alone. Also, if you have the opportunity to meet at a public place do so! I would recommend against going into someone’s home alone or in the evening...just be cautious. There are incredible finds out there to be had, but I do think through all the measures of safety beforehand to be safe 🙏🏼✨

I have a lot of Art Deco pieces that I bought from France and Belgium. I had to look up what Parisian Art Deco is. The photographs and articles on that style are very cool. Thank you for posting this.
Wow, Will! I bet your sourced finds are gorgeous 🤩 I’ve only purchased a few items from Etsy overseas but nothing that was true Art Deco in style. The French/Parisian Art Deco style is really beautiful...a lot of ornate mounding that I would like to have one day in my home. Living in an apartment I’m unable to incorporate that level of detail into my display but fingers crossed one day soon I’ll be able to bring my full vision to life 🙌🏼

Yeah, another Beau video!! I just saw your Instagram post and I got excited about seeing this video. Parisian art deco! no wonder I like your style!!! I got so excited about your last video when you said the tulip vase was art deco. I am wanting to learn more about the art deco style. I have a purse from my mom that I know is art deco, but I don't know what other items fit this style.
Art Deco is fabulous! The lines are clean, geometric, and intricate. Those lamps he have look like art deco to me.

RN Video I’m so glad you appreciate the Art Deco style! For the most part this look is filled with statement furniture pieces that have exaggerated curved lines in very simple forms. Mixing old world with new world is VERY good, and this style of design always incorporates modern art or sculptures/busts. Also black and white contrasting accents! I saw the larger of the two mirrors previously on FB marketplace a few weeks back but it was much further away and 5x as expensive...needless to say, it was a total blessing that it just happened to make an appearance by a different seller who was closer and for a much more reasonable price! 2nd hand decor is a great way to recycle.
I go to Habitat for Humanity Restore and my local Goodwill's regularly and find AWESOME pieces. I find that curating the design for my homes interiors over time is so much more satisfying than just going to a furniture store and buying the floor display. But, I like shopping, so it works for me......until the next video, Be Well.

Styling is one element, but to curate a look definitely does not happen all at once in one fell swoop. Like fast fashion, “fast home decor” does exist! Of all the home decor channels I watch, your style is the closet to mine. I'm looking for a floor length mirror that's ornate. For me, to break up my leather, glass, black, iron and wood, I might get a wood or gold mirror. NOT SURE THO'. YOUR'S IS STUNNING ! Confusion 😟Wish me luck on the sites. 😀

She's perfect! Mine is a bit smaller & I added a couple of pearl necklaces. I couldn't help myself. I've done b/w w some color here & there for abt 3yrs now & I just love it. Love the style you’re creating, for sure, but I think I would have left the mirrors gold since many a French interior has them that way, but they look nice nonetheless. What a bargain! Suggestion! Love your mirrors oh my God I have 2 like that at home and they look great on my wall there Still Golden.. guess I’m gonna have to look for some flat black spray.. ....suggestion for spray painting on a patio balcony is to buy a small pop-up ( child’s)tent that can quickly fold down or that collapse ,you can stick the item inside an the overspray stays contained in the tent, then you can store it flatten outside or hidden somewhere..Great job the apartment is beautiful👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yes unfortunately our Homegoods does not sell those busts here in my area of Florida which is pretty surprising but I’ve definitely have been looking for a Gilt mirror for a while now I really Wish we had a HomeSense here in Florida I hope we get one here one day. Vera M thank you! I do recommend that if you make a purchase that you take a friend, family member, or someone you trust to accompany you through the transaction. It can be a bit intimidating to go alone. Also, if you have the opportunity to meet at a public place do so! I would recommend against going into someone’s home alone or in the evening...just be cautious. There are incredible finds out there to be had, but I do think through all the measures of safety beforehand to be safe 🙏🏼✨
