Found Sandi and have been binging from her start. I’m not very far but am so impressed by the technology and the amount of equipment it takes to operate the farm. Was watching a video wondering about all the tractors and in the same video I see she mentioned your channel! Love the tour! Thanks.
Started with Sandi's channel, love watching your family work! I appreciate that you guys put your lives out there for others to see how things work and what it takes to farm. Please keep educating us on how you run your grain farm and the sheep
Having spent my entire life in the city, with some interest in cars and gas/diesel pick-up trucks, this is very enlightening - I had no idea there were gas-engine tractors, I always figured they were diesel-engine! I also didn't realize such a variety of tractors were needed for different jobs around the farm . . . but it makes sense! 😄 I have family in Iowa that either had a farm, or work on the sales side of farm equipment (IH and ?), I never thought to ask them about any of this. Thank you for sharing this.
I found this video very interesting. The rock picker brought back memories of the 80's when I worked dairy farms in the Winchester Ont area. Rock picking was a social event in the spring. A farmer would lay out the beer and food and we would all follow the wagon, having a few beers, socializing and picking rocks followed by a BBQ. Great times. Merry Christmas to all and a very prosperous New Year.
Mark - Ah yes winter, a time to fix the broken equipment, and maybe get to do some restoration work on equipment that holds memories for you. A very Merry Christmas to you, Sandi, and the children. Blessings to you all in the New Year from the retired Lutheran Pastor in Davenport, Iowa.
Mark. Thank You very much for the equipment show and tell it is alway"s good to see the different farm equipment. Thank You for the video may all of your equipment run for ever. Take Care Be Safe Alway's Around all Farm equipment.😁😎
Mark if you ever go to an equipment auction please make a video I don't care if you selling all that old equipment that you don't use or looking to upgrade with some new equipment. It would be really interesting. Your farming is so in-depth and complicated it's so over the average person's head it's unbelievable it's like you're speaking a foreign language and actually you are. The average person we eat the products but have no clue as what goes into it. Very informative segment!
That was a lot of equipment and plenty to work on and keep you occupied prior to next season. Such it seems is the life of a farmer. Thanks for doing what you do and letting us tag along. Merry Christmas to you, Sandi, Jack, and Jess!
How do you do all this and survive in the 2020's??? Never a dull day. I just saw your daughters video about her health. I told her to develop a Kick Ass attitude and never say "Die". Same to you and your endeavors. Beautiful Barn and Equipment.
I’m definitely subscribing to your channel Mark! In Farming Simulator 19 my operation has been a 8295R for planting, 8370R for tillage both with duals all around, a Horsch disc, and a Case 8240 combine. We have similar taste I guess....lol
First I noticed there was no hat. Second, I think you did a great job of running down your equipment list. Third, Sandi really loves her sheep and sheep need forage, thus the forage equipment is a necessity, old or new, you have to have it. Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. Will continue to watch because I enjoy following what you do. And the occasional Canadian mannerism. Lol
Mark , thank you for the equipment tour . I love looking at the equipment and you take such good care of everything . I don’t see mud sitting on your equipment too long . I really enjoy your videos , your explanations of what you are doing and why you are doing it are awesome . I want to wish you and your family a Happy and successful New Year . May god keep you all healthy and safe !
At my place my gramps always a neat freak about his tractors. My dad is the same way. We had just washed all the mud from harvest off the tractor and we had to disc where we did some scraper work and the first thing that happened was a hydraulic hose blew right behind the cab. My dad wasn't very happy about that. Plus it was on the last round
Thanks for the tour and for giving names and explaining the functions of your gear (you guys have to have so much stuff!) I know nothing of grain farming so this is a good learning experience.
And a very Merry Christmas to you and the family. I enjoy all your videos and it was nice to see all the equipment. All I can say is you're a very busy fellow. Take care and have an awesome Christmas
Thanks for the tour Mark and all the work you put into the videos. Thanks for showing the blue tel-handler, i was wondering what had become of it since you mentioned that it needed some work. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Wow that’s one big pile of Toys I was jealous before but you’ve taken jealousy to a new level. Merry Christmas and all the best to you and Sandi hope 2020 is an outstanding year for you.
I thoroughly enjoy watching both yours and Sandi’s channels. As someone who has lived in a city there entire life and having a sister and brother in law farming in Saskatchewan, it is kind of nice to get a chance to see what they go through through you Mark. They have both cattle and about 10 sections of land near Kindersley,Sk Happy new year to you and family.
Same here when I see how narrow equipment must be to move around on the European roads. Think our are like this because we don't have to deal with any heavy traffic or large populations.
Thanks Mark, Merry Christmas and Happy and Prosperous New Year. Yours is a great voice for production agriculture. Your presentations are well organized, full of info that tell it like it is.
Hey Mark, first time visitor. I’m subscribing. Love seeing the big equipment, I grow wine grapes in Oregon, thank god we don’t have to have that kind of machinery to tend the crops.
Merry Christmas to you and your family from Denmark🇩🇰 Very Nice video Mark as always. It is fantastic too see how farming is done in other countries. Keep up the good work and good luck for next year
Great video MARK ! Equipment tour was best of 2019 thank you . Looking forward to 2020 videos Wishing the entire Brock Family "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and may "GOD BLESS !!!!
looks like u farm on the Canadian shield [don't know how to spell it]. I used a tractor a few times my farmer friend has, I was 8 years old. it was fun. all the wheels moved at different speeds. I was told it was for contour ploughing. it was great, i used it to spin myself out the ditches and to park in the barn. at least is not as complicated as a army tank. MERRY CHRISTMAS
A guy who used to work for them became a salesman at case. He got them to trade their John Deere for the case combine. Go and look at the first day of wheat harvest on Sandi Brocks channel and it will make sense.
Thanks. Looking forward to the tiling videos. I have no background in large scale ag and have heard about it in the past. Curious to see how it is done.
If I find a new channel I like I go back to the beginning of the channel and watch the videos. For that being for first videos on your channel you did a awesome job. But I don't know shit about technology really and I don't own a computer, laptop tablet or anything else but a cell Phone

I glad rock picking bring back good memories for you, if we did that we'd likely have more fun doing the job 😉. Happy holidays!

Alas, the list was longer than expected. Thanks, and same to you.
@@MarkBrock Good Luck
Nice! I'm curious, why you have John Deere tractors and a Case combine was it i.e. price, brand, performance, availability?
A guy who used to work for them became a salesman at case. He got them to trade their John Deere for the case combine. Go and look at the first day of wheat harvest on Sandi Brocks channel and it will make sense.
I love my John Deere tractors and love my Case combine. For me, it's not the colour but how well it does it's job on our farm under our conditions.
@@MarkBrock At my place we are a pretty much brand loyalty. The only thing blue on our farm is th New Holland 8040
