I’m not going to lie I thought Clorinde’s story quest was going to be all about the Traveller entering some kind of CDT (Champion Dualist Tournament) competing against other dualists in hopes of defeating Clorinde and becoming a new Champion Dualist or some kind of Honorary Champion Dualist of Fontaine because if you think about it both Traveller and Clorinde are both sword wielders and both have a strong sense of justice and it would be kinda interesting to see them both becoming rivals and seeing Clorinde becoming a possible Boss Battle in her own story quest just like how Arlecchino being a boss battle in her own story quest. Also if you think about it Arlecchino defeated the Traveller, if Traveller were to defeat Clorinde it would help make up for their defeat against the Knave and also help prepare the Traveller for his future dual with Tartaglia in Snezhnaya. Plus the Traveller’s next destination is Natlan, nation of Pyro, War, and Dragons (according to Neuvillette) meaning the Traveller is slowly but surely closing in on both Snezhnaya, nation of cryo, homeland of the Fatui, and the Tsaritsa. I just feel like the Traveller defeating Clorinde in a battle would help prepare him for Natlan including a possible confrontation with the Captain and maybe Damselette and they are harbingers between No.1 & 3 of the Fatui. But still I like seeing a completely different side of Clorinde I and enjoy watching her story quest either way. But still I didn’t expect it to be a Genshin Impact parody of DnD don’t get me wrong I like the style of the and it’s nice to hear more voice acting from the Traveller but still I think it would be more interesting to see Traveller and Clorinde battling against each other in some of kind of tournament maybe in a future story quest anyway i still enjoyed this, please don’t mind my babbling I’m just sharing my honest opinions that’s all.😀
Man, Clorinde's quest started out as a DnD campaign until it became real AF with Furina none the wiser especially with the cutscene of the possessed Florian; the fight scene was certainly impressive. Another funny part was Paimon got pissed that everything turned out to be the real deal at the end. Gotta say that I love the design of Clorinde's sword, Absolution.
So Clorinde and Navia invited Lyney, Furina, Paimon, and the Traveler for a DnD session of Marecheause Hunter that started off as something fun before the creator of the story session turned out to have ulterior motives for him setting up the game. The session that started off as a game lead to the uncovering a legacy left behind by the Marechaussee Hunters and they defeat an ancient evil that was sealed by the Marechaussee Hunters of the past. Clorinde and Florian make up things on the fly as the session turned real.
