    legalized plunder
    is a concept in libertarian thought which describes the act of using the law to redistribute wealth. This was coined by Frédéric Bastiat, most famously in his 1850 book The Law.
    plunder is verb steal goods from (a place or person), typically using force and in a time of war or civil disorder.

    Nice uncomplicated overview, thank,s for sharing, can I ask what is a administrative court and does it have any lawful power , thank you.

      wayne elliott Hi. I'm glad you found this video helpful. An Administrative Appeals Tribunal or an Administrative Court has lawful authority to adjudicate over matters pertaining to, for instance administrative issues - i.e. unlawful termination of a public employee etc. It would necessarily undertake matters concerning public bodies, local authorities etc.
      All the best with your studies and exams Wayne :)

    wasn't the SC established by The Constitutional Reform Act 2005?

    • @TheLawSimplified
      @TheLawSimplified  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Josh. The Supreme Court Act of 2009 established the SC whereas the CRA 2005, an important 'constitutional statute' abolished the HoL as the highest judicial authority.

    How come a county court hears appeals but is considered an original court?

    • @TheLawSimplified
      @TheLawSimplified  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Elizabeth. A County Court will, at times, will be an original Court in which matters begin and entertain at other times, appeals from lower Courts. However, it will not be the last appeal available to a party.

    The Supreme Court was established by Part 3 of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 and it came into being on 1st
    October 2009. There is no such thing as the Supreme Court Act 2009, only The Supreme Court Rules 2009 and these lay down the procedure to be undertaken by the court not its establishment.
