    Hi Nicole. Great video as always and happy to see you back here on the channel. I'm sure you already have this new cottage series well planned out and I look forward to whatever that may be, but I have a longshot request -- I'd love to see a lesson on hop jig rhythms and your approach to them. The video you have up playing with a piper to a set of hop jigs is some of the most understated and tasteful bodhran playing ive seen on here. There is no other videos or lessons or anything on this topic so would love to hear/see you break down some of what you're doing there.

    Your students are quite fortunate to have such a teacher. Whenever anyone I meet shows an interest in Bodhran I tell them to first watch a few of your videos. Their indecision fades away quickly after seeing your enthusiasm, grace and ease of explanation.

    I play a lot with the fingers of my left hand. I'm a bass player, it just comes naturally. I play a traditional style with my right. I learned in the Gaeltacht of Donegal in the late 80s.

      Its a MoGrip JazzMo, looks like she has some custom wrapping on the handle to add some thickness
