Furthermore, Jisung could have easily been the main vocalist as well, that is why he was able to take most of Woojins parts in the old songs after his departure and he is the most stable singer in live performances - which makes him musically talented in many different ways and not only vocals

Honestly though, I'm starting to think that not debuting under YG might be for the best. I've lost track of how many YG artists that have outright criticized their own company or made subtle comments about issues like unfair treatment and lack of support. There are so many unresolved issues that I'm seriously questioning how the company is run. For example; the failure to debut Mixnine (and I guess we have to wait and see what happens with the Treasure box trainees), idols not receiving songs/not being given the opportunity to release their own songs, after the Seungri issue the company admitted to shortcomings concerning the management of their artists - but they still haven't come up with a solution other than being even more strict and controlling (wouldn't it be better to work on improving the company culture instead of punishing people for something they had no control over?!). To summarize, the trainees who didn't get to debut under YG might not get the same kind of publicity when they debut, but leaving YG doesn't make them any less talented. If they work hard they could still make it in the industry.

I was rather addressing the company as a whole. I'm not saying that it's wrong for a company to have strict rules, rules are there for everybody's safety. But entertainment companies who take excessive measures to make sure their artists "stay in their lanes" run the risk of violating human rights to health and freedom. I think YG is restricting their artists freedom way to much, because I would personally never work for a company that didn't allow me to talk to my co-workers, acquire a driving license or even go to the convenience store by myself.

Not all contestants came on the show with aims of finding a group to debut in for the long run, some of them wanted to promote themselves on the show and later return to their original groups.

If you see that name in yg artists albums like in Winner, iKon, Akmu, Mino, Bobby and Treasure album credits, he is that kid. He gave up being a yg trainee and now a full time yg producer. Fun fact, He co produced Love Scenario with B.I in just 2 hours.

I know most of you thought YG did better but you gotta give credit to the Stray Kids too. Chan completely transformed the disco genre into this mellow, dark one. It's a completely new song, polished with the three's amazing vocals.
It was good, but it was missing something in the beat. Their stage presence was okay but their voices were onpoint and the rapping👌 however YG trainees had pulled out the full package. From the rearrangement of the song, down to choreo, voices and stage presence. That's why YG trainees over shadowed Stray Kids in the comment section. But the dance battle is where stray kids killed it.!
They’re all talented but Woojin’s voice is so beautiful. He can dance and rap too, honestly I don’t know why people doesn’t really appreciate him. His personality is so cute too
Definitely YG won this time.YG surprised me a lot in the vocal aspect, I know there are very good singers in the YG but these children seem to have already debuted. I had expectations with Yedam and he overcame them, I hope so much his debut that when I saw him cry, he has grown a lot and he is one of the diamonds hidden in YG. He sings beautiful and he looks cute and humble.
I like that this time YG trainees look so layback, not try so hard to be badass but still have that YG vibe and enjoy themself more compare to the last battle during Winner/Ikon vs Got7/Day6, the tension was so high that time.
Yoonghyo is real i think all of them got the YG vibes. Even if they're just laid back and standing in their performance, i could already tell they got YG vibes from them. From vocals to rappers to visuals, I'm pretty sure they got em just by the look of them😆

I will forever love SK’s BP cover, but what YG’s group did with that song (which I’ve never heard before) was just amazing. It gave me the vibe. To be honest, I can’t really compare cuz both were super good. Edit: The vibe is different and so is the delivery so I can’t choose which is better. That BP cover sounds so smooth and makes my sing. 😂 I love Stray Kids. I really love the dynamic between both teams. I like how they can enjoy each other’s performances and just have fun.

Stray kids never fail to surprise me. Woojin's vocals, I cant find any word to describe how perfect he is 😭 Han is so great, he's literally in every line (vocal, dance, and rap) 😯 Chan did so well, he was so stable and his vocals were amazing 💖 I love them so much 😩 I love this version way more than the original 👌
but at least they will debut in some rookie groups (AB6IX,C9Boyz,Treasure 13 and Produce X 101's boy group) soon and at the same time it's sad that they aren't debut together :(

Rose Park i know! Ive listened to that for longg, i really hope YG wont do any hiphop anymore, just quit it, it has long overdue. And i thought if YG new boygroup will do r&b it wouldnt be a hard for them as we can see yedam's voice is veryyyy soulful and raesung can compose r&b beat very well.
I also really hope they will doing R&B since Ikon already doing the hip hop route and Winner with their various style, the R&B soulful group with smooth dance will be a great addition to avoid the similarity from senior group. No matter what concept, I just hope they can debut soon.

From the rearrangement of the song, down to choreo, voices and stage presence. That's why YG trainees over shadowed Stray Kids in the comment section. But the dance battle is where stray kids killed it.!

Definitely YG won this time.YG surprised me a lot in the vocal aspect, I know there are very good singers in the YG but these children seem to have already debuted. I had expectations with Yedam and he overcame them, I hope so much his debut that when I saw him cry, he has grown a lot and he is one of the diamonds hidden in YG. He sings beautiful and he looks cute and humble.
I like that this time YG trainees look so layback, not try so hard to be badass but still have that YG vibe and enjoy themself more compare to the last battle during Winner/Ikon vs Got7/Day6, the tension was so high that time.

Cbris Esguerra his name is Lee Midam, unfortunately he left YG(he was quite depressed and felt that him being a trainee for over 2 years was quite rough on him) and moved to APP.Y entertainment(maybe to debut sooner?not so sure) please support him. I will forever love SK’s BP cover, but what YG’s group did with that song (which I’ve never heard before) was just amazing. It gave me the vibe. To be honest, I can’t really compare cuz both were super good.
Edit: The vibe is different and so is the delivery so I can’t choose which is better. That BP cover sounds so smooth and makes my sing. 😂 I love Stray Kids. I really love the dynamic between both teams. I like how they can enjoy each other’s performances and just have fun.

Rose Park i know! Ive listened to that for longg, i really hope YG wont do any hiphop anymore, just quit it, it has long overdue. And i thought if YG new boygroup will do r&b it wouldnt be a hard for them as we can see yedam's voice is veryyyy soulful and raesung can compose r&b beat very well.
I also really hope they will doing R&B since Ikon already doing the hip hop route and Winner with their various style, the R&B soulful group with smooth dance will be a great addition to avoid the similarity from senior group. No matter what concept, I just hope they can debut soon.
