In this video, I will show you how to create a realistic gold texture effect inside Blender. There are usually two things that make a good-looking texture. We will start by setting up our textures then I will show you an overview of how to light a gold foil.

The best channel I've ever discovered. Please make more product design tutorials because this side of the blender is missing a lot, no one but derek elliott
Thank you very much. The plan is to continue making high quality content. Is their anything specific you are looking to learn?
@@Interactiv I think you can do a course on different textures. example: polycarbonate plastic or you can model a realistic keyboard and use realistic and beautiful textures and make some animations with this model
@@0xnotdesigner I've been thinking of making an animated keyboard for some time now, but I haven't given it a shot yet. It might take me a while to make one that looks good but thank you for the suggestion.

You're welcome!
Bro just make 2 materials. One with normal glass and other with golden materials then plug the textures in blende btw 2 materials.
I have been working on this same kind of tutorial this week. You beat me to it.
Here's what I have created with the Gold Leaf. th-cam.com/video/iyCUXKZ7cAc/w-d-xo.html
You basically need just a few nodes for quick results. However, I use more nodes for more effects if needed.
Thanks a lot for your tutorial, you do way better than what I can do. I am always open to learning new things and old things.

@@artemis2545 - Since then, with Blender 4, I have found an easier way to do the foil effect. In fact, all I have to do is change the graphics and it is done.
