Thanks Jerry!!! It was an epic trip and we get to re-live it when we edit and make these videos! There will be at least 1 more episode coming out soon!
Love the videos! Awesome work. Could you share how you reserved a room at mikes sky ranch? How did the booking process work? And price?? Thanks so much.
Thanks for the feedback!!!!! So we called the regular number (+52 664 681 5514) well ahead of time, maybe a couple of months, they will "book" you and can let you know if there's a big event going on that you probably want to avoid, like the Baja 1000. Then about a week before I would call +52 555 150 1094 (the actual ranch) and confirm booking, ask about the road and weather conditions and how many other folks will be up there at the same time. I'm a little fuzzy on what it cost us because that was quite a few cervezas ago, but I think it was about $85 US each including beers, dinner and breakfast, this was also sharing a room with a buddy... But, you can ask how much when call the 1st number to get a more accurate idea.
Where did you get those large paper maps of Baja to mark. Love them. I have been to Baja now 10 times and will keep going as long as my body will allow. I like the paper map.
I printed them off on a plotter, they are not good to use in the field as a drop of water will make them bleed, but great for illustrating where we were at in these videos. Some waterproof paper would be great!!!
There was a lot of confusion getting to some of these hotels, the puddle was only a 1/2 mile away from this hotel and as soon as Jerry (the 2nd to last rider) realized he didn't have headlights in his mirror he turned back, you can actually see 2 riders showing up and 1 rider going back in the video. I almost went down in the same puddle!
Another great one guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!

If someone had left me stranded to ride on I wouldn't talk to them ever again. You NEVER leave a downed rider!
