Oh, this both reminds me of Octopath Traveler but also Final Fantasy Tactics! (And maybe...Fire Emblem Three Houses? 😂) Gonna keep an eye out for this!
Three characters, one for virtue, one for liberty and one for utility? This is exactly FE3H
Lies, the demo isn't available now
Brooo I’m just here LOOKING 🤣😂
@@jutengaiofficial leave and reload the store I was able to get start the download now
@@JezailleBrett i have the games

This game looks insanely amazing! Please take your time on this game.
Future me already bought this no questions asked.
Bought the collectors edition
ur why as a society is failing u probably play fortnite
@@fastcars7310 Nah mate. This game and even genre are in an entirely different league.
Yoooooo wtf! Is this the true sequel to the original Final Fantasy Tactics? I know it's not, but no other SRPG has given me the same feeling as the OG FFT. And this just looks so much like it, from the art style and the way the units move and attack. This looks so good. I can not wait this is a day 1 for me.
One step closer to an HD 2D Ogre Battle game
Blonde haired guy = Dimitri
Black haired guy = Claude
Pink haired girl = Edelgard
Was waiting for a final fantasy tactics like for a long time, i'm so happy rn!
This game is so on the wishlist
Project Triangle: Three Houses
This game looks so unique! An anime turn based RPG with 16 bit sprite characters, and polygon backgrounds. I'm glad they dedicates five minutes of the direct to this game
Dude right when I saw the artwork I thought of Octopath Traveller. Ima like this game alot
ur a weeb actual human trash can
respond coward

No one:
Tactics Ogre fans: "Let Us Cling Together fellow Valerians"
I have been playing the demo non-stop, it is excellent. I will be sending my feedback soon! Thank you for letting us participate!
This game is the highlight of this Direct for me! Downloading the demo now!
Octopath was final fantasy. Triangle is FF tactics. This is perfect
The melody at the beginning sounds like "World of Scattering Flowers" from Bravely Default : ^)
Love it, i have always wanted to have something like Tactics Orge, FF tactics (in pixel art style) for Switch. Please keep it up!
This game is basically final fantasy tactics
Octopath Traveler Tactics? Where do I sign?!
alternate name
Trinity Tactics.
it is a tactics gam after all.
There, now you can have your triangles and compete with it too.
Octopath traveller meets fire emblem
That's why I think this game'll be perfect for me!
@@lucasfox2494 oh for sure, I've not even played the demo and I've fallen in love
you mean Final Fantasy Tactics meet Octopath Traveller
Demo was awesome
was there supposed to be an octopath traveler sequel? i could have sworn they said that
I thought they said a mobile game. Could be wrong though.
They said both a mobile gacha game (that takes place before the games events) and a sequel. Not much news for the sequel other than there's gonna be one because delays due to corona stuff. At least I think so
Edit: spelling and grammar
Its a mobile game exclusive to Japan rn
@@basketoffruit4485 I remember they said it was gonna be a mobile game but iirc they also said it would have very un-mobile game-like elements, which makes me wonder why they didn't just make a Switch game. Would be much more lucrative/interesting imo.
@@basketoffruit4485 Thanks so much, thats what I heard too, I really hope thats still happening because Octopath is one of my favorite games ever
Little bit of Final Fantasy Tactics, little bit of Tactics Ogre, all through the filter of Octopath Traveler.
I guess I'm buying this.
Remember the men who lost their lives in the Saltiron War for you to eat potato chips.
Not the Final Fantasy Tactics game we wanted, but the Final Fantasy Tactics game we NEEDED. I. CAN'T. WAIT!
"Hey Three Houses can I copy your homework?"
"Yeah just change it a little so nobody notices"
It's more a final fantasy tactics than a fire emblem
It looks like a copy of Tactics Ogre tho (1995), gameplay is quite different from FE.
Has a vast amount more depth to the combat than FE has if its anything like FFT, which it looks incredibly similar! Try playing Final Fantasy Tactics (and FFT Advance/ FFT A2) or Tactics Ogre
Yall, it's just a superficial joke about thematic/gameplay similarities. It ain't that deep.
@@kappaross6124 If there seemed to be close similarities I'd understand, but FE3H is about as close as pokemon is to this game from the looks of it lol.
Thematically I definitely understand peoples Octopath comparison(duh, it's from HD2D) but not FE3H. (I was typing out the reasons why this seems nothing like FE, but the list got to long so I gave up lol)
Imma play the demo after class tomorrow as a reward. It looks neat
The Salt and Iron war, called "Saltiron War".. Alright then
The game looks amazing but that name is kind of lame
Played the demo in handheld mode and it was great. Need to play on my TV now since the film grain annoys me in handheld mode. It definitely feels like FF Tactics more so than Tactics Advance did. Square really stole the show with Saga Frontier, Legend of Mana and this being announced!
Needs a better title. “Something Something Scales of Balance”.
It sounds like a mobile puzzle game
I unironically like the name Saltiron Wars. Maybe because it feels realistic that they’d be fighting over limited resources? Sort of reminds me of War of the Lions.
How about
Triunity: Scales of Balance
Or just Triunity
@@Schnoz42069 but then you guarantee that the final boss is a dragon
Much better!
This looks hella promising, but damn, a poor title can help make or break your sales!
I’ve been waiting for Square to revisit this genre for years! Let’s gooooo
_sees trailer:_ OH THIS LOOKS SO COOL!
_sees name:_ ...
It looks like its the FF Tactics version of what Bravely Default was for Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
