When Kenyon Martin was playing for the Nets with Jason Kidd. I attended a game in 2002. I had seats right under the basket. What blew my mind how skinny he was in comparison to Juwann Howard. To see Kenyon battling much larger sized players on the boards was amazing. Juwann Howard was throwing elbows and Kenyon Martin was fighting right threw them. That brother truly had the heart of a lion. And i know I played ball and was at the game to watch one of my high school rivals Rod Strickland. Side note: one of my friends was friends with one of Kenyon Martin's close high school friends and got to hang out with Kenyon in Texas. He told me that he was a humble cool dude..❤
