Hi friends!! Welcome to Happily Organized Chaos, I'm Jen and I am a 40 something mom of two, a boy (12) and a little girl (9). We live in Atlantic Canada and love to share little bits and pieces of our lives here on TH-cam. I love to share lots of organizing, lifestyle content and DIY. I hope you decide to stick around and join the family.

the hallway looks so much better, imagine what it would look like if you could find another home for everything else that is in there. love your sentimental artwork, I think I would move that to your office. thanks for sharing, really enjoy your videos. 🥳
The basement is looking so good…so happy for you! As a Disney fan myself, I get that decluttering the VHS tapes is difficult. Thanks for sharing! 🩷
👍👍 You did such an amazing job on that area and decluttered so much!
I hope Maddie had an awesome birthday party!
Great video! Could you put your VHS tapes next to your VCR? Or put them in your office closet to enjoy seeing each day.
Girl. I run multiple buy nothing groups in our area. I’ve created rules and guidelines and ways to cut down on no shows. Rule 1 is SET A TIME that you feel comfortable with. If they don’t show up, go on to the next person. We also issue strikes/ suspensions for no shows.
Try and keep it the way it is! Nice job😊
I'm not binge watching you. I just saw ur channel. BTW great job & talking through ur stuff. I saw in a video ur luggage from ur bedroom u can put it in the downstairs closet with the wires behind the chairs u put in there. Keep it up. Great job
Jen! What wonderful progress you have made in this hallway!
I remember you tackling this hallway many times in past videos, and this is by far the most impressive!
As you said, so many options to consider for organizing seasonal items, etc…
Ideally, whatever you decide to do in the hallway, hopefully it would not look cluttered.
Curious, when board games are being played, are they used typically in the basement, the main level or all the way upstairs?
I’m wondering if they could be relocated to that level and free up space under the stairs for the seasonal items?
It’s got to feel amazing what you accomplished! ❤😊
I love hearing you talk through your decisions, while I think we process things differently I really appreciate listening to how your brain works 😍Sometimes when I have to make those hard decisions what helps me is if its not a "definite Yes" I would go out now to buy them again I make it a "no" and declutter it. I love your channel and love your progress! Keep going friend 😍
Thank you Becky. It's like you are here with me and listening to me as I drove to work this morning..lol I was thinking I need to get back to filming, life has been crazy and I've paused decluttering for a bit but it is really my passion to live more intentionally and simple. I hope to be back to filming soon!
Maybe too late for suggestionssince this video is a 2 months old, but I would move the board games to the hallway and use the walls to hang or display more of your favourite keepsakes - like lowering that shelf and putting your Disney VHS on it. Put the seasonal storage bins out of sight under the stairs.
I wud use under the stairs for storage bens of holidays or seasonal
1st time watching your channel. LOVED THIS VIDEO.
awh, this comment made my day 💜 thank you!
Can you use the white shoe boxes in your office closet?
is that a precious places house on the fridge? mine was from 1986!
Yes!!! Precious Places was my favourite 💜 I want to say I was 8 when I got mine, so 1989 or so.
I’m puzzled, why would you assume that stored light bulbs would be bad ones?
Because I could see the parts that were burnt out 😂
@@HappilyOrganizedChaos Fair enough, then who put bad bulbs in a storage box?😅
@lauramitchell6725 apparently I do 😂😂
@@HappilyOrganizedChaos 🤭
I'm peeling the onion 😉
All those cords look like a fire hazard.
@@gingercotter4761 the cords under the stairs? They’ve all been checked and passed inspection ☺️ Thanks for the concern!
I got rid of all the vhs Disney of my kid’s as we have no means of playing them any longer ..... nor does anyone else I know (and the charity shops won’t take them, presumably because of that) so sad all that plastic went to landfill
