Love your video and the connection you have to the land. Your style is that it is just someone having a chat with you which is not easy to do when you are new to it. Great to see the land as the seasons change and your affinity with nature and it's creatures come across well in your videos.
Donkeys years ago my elderly Aunt Lydia was in Polebank. Visiting used to terrify me as the old dears seemed to be sat either side of a long room just staring into space. I used to make a bee line to a bird cage at the end of the room where there was a little canary. One day I realised the little birds claws had grown around the perch it was sitting on which meant it could only move sideways up and down the cage. Still gives me shudders now! 😮
I'm with you on that,,I wasn't allowed to visit Betty in there,as it was covid times,,but as a young lad I was in the cubs,,and we would go in to do a carol service,,I use to think the same😢
Just gorgeous Andy!, 1. How nice it will be to fix up that pond and have mallards in there. A thrill for everyone specially the toddlers. 2. What is the Gee Cross that you all mention often? Thank you. From 🇨🇦
Love your videos. You are so knowledgeable about the birds and try to make sure they are fed and the squirrels. The weather on the 110 looks beautiful but cold, telling us about your wedding photos and where they were taken so interesting. It was nice seeing the Viking. I hope the ducks stay on the pond so Tom can see them he will be so happy. Take care and safe.xx💕
got plenty of ducks close to home afew vids on my channel, got swans & those canadian geese which not noticed them lately, seen a random herring, lots of robins,i think i have gold finches in my roof nesting been in my back garden lots past few years.
Love your videos seeing all the different sides to your life Man of many talents My grandma has an entry that a family of swallows come nesting would love to show you one day 🎉
That would be nice,,at one time not many years ago,the restaurant at the grapes was stables where swallows use to nest,,they always arrived around 11th April 😊

Tom's been many times,,it is a nice spot,,years ago the gardens were beautiful, they had there own gardeners, now it's been took over by the local council and sadly neglected,,only nice around the pond😢
Happy New Year, Andy. Take it easy ribs take a long time to heal. Can't believe the water damage at Tom's and your road very bad. 😢 love from Essex. We have a snow warning ⚠️ this week i hope not as i hate to drive in snow, my whole car went sliding across they road on the Way to Woburn Abbey so scary 😳. 💙🎇🐍🙏🏼XX
Pollbank hall was Ashton brothers house who owned the mills down Hyde and the falling down house at longacre was originally a game Keepers cottage and in one of the fields behind the Joshua Bradley one of the Ashton brothers son's was murdered by the luddites 👍
