During what year was this taken? At the part between 6 and 7 minutes I noticed the part of Parramatta Road between Bland Street and Dalhausie Street in Haberfield where the West Connex Tunnel has now been built, and it looks completely different. All the buildings on the right hand side of the car are now no longer there, they were demolished to make way for the construction of the tunnel. I had always wanted to see what Parramatta Road looked like before any construction of West Connex, so thank you so much for posting this video.
Hi Darren, I've looked through my files and see that this was recorded on the 18th of August 2013. The same goes for the video of the Rocks.. Yes, a lot has changed since then!
@@TravellingVikings I was in Sydney about a month ago, and while I was there I took a drive along Parramatta Road in the opposite direction to what you travelled and recorded my journey on a dash cam. I began my recording as I turned into Broadway from Pitt Street just past Central Station, and I kept it going for the entire length of Parramatta Road all the way to where it terminates at Woodville Road as you pass through Granville into Parramatta. One day I hope to be able to post it onto TH-cam too.

Used this road almost every day for 10 years from '82. I actually lived on the road for a for a short time at the Vauxhall inn in Granville.

4:45 I was at that fuel station yesterday there was an aventador a convertible gallado a 458 Italia and I forget what other Ferrari was there
And a lime green 2017 Audi R8 at the Audi dealer across the road from it
From 10:39 and onwards the road starts to look like a ghost town.
