This is an ode to the sailing vessel Noorderlicht, which I was lucky to have sailed with in the arctic waters of Spitsbergen.
This clip will show you what it's like to travel on board this historic vessel in the majestic arctic landscape. In only one week we encountered the big 7 of this area: whale, polar bear, walrus, reindeer, arctic fox, enjoyed all types of weather and the last bit of midnight sun. We had wonderful photo opportunities, helped science and cleaned up beaches where we could. It was a great combination of traveling with an eye for environment, a great experience.
