Just wanted to tell you I enjoy your videos. I am the almost 65 yr. old grandson of tobacco farmers in western North Carolina. I can remember watching the use a mule to pull stuff :) Farm on!
9:31 Grant, you should. You eat one thing at 10:47. and then you eat another thing at 11:23 and at lunch time, you eat the rest. It's actually a better way to eat.
Cuz that's pretty cool that you got something from Germany that that is pretty neat that's why I said you should open up a museum because you know Germany is a long long ways away
Laura, if you start doing your pretrip inspection on your truck like you do your equipment. You will never run out of gas or oil 😅. Glad to see your dad having fun on his birthday. Great job Grant.
the video she did with one of the New York Farm Girls was wonderful, Farming is not a job i would not ever do again Laura and the other women who do this thanks God bless
Your a funny kid you and Grant.... I had to stop watching you on Facebooks and not commenting on anything because of the hackers that try to say that they are you.... Hell I even had one saying that you and Grant were divorced.... Boy I sure hope not.... You kids are the GREATEST....
Brother Ethan appeared to be fully grown, I'd think he would be a lot of help if available. We never see/hear much about your siblings, and meanwhile the moms provide a lot of support and are to be greatly appreciated.
Laura - E does not stand for extended range! Our policy here is never run under 1/4, always fill up by then. Haven't ran out using it, nor walk for a gas can full. Can't say the same for my riding lawn mower. It ran out yesterday while mowing yard. both gas cans empty. I didn't look at the fuel tank level when I started. So, there you go - smiley; I am no better.
Laura!!! Of course you should feel special! You ARE special...that's why your fans love and adore you so much! Happy birthday to your dad!! Grant is getting really good with his segments. Give him a big hug for being such a great guy!!!
Great video Laura…You & Grant are farming about 100 miles from the old Míšek Farm that was east of Dodge, NE in Colfax County from about 1910-1945 two generations ago. It’s so good to see you younger generations wanting to keep the family farms a going. Not to many of the kids that grow up on the farm, stay on the farm. And the new technologies you guys are enjoying today are marvelous innovations. It makes the jobs of farming just a little easier for you folks. I so wish I would have been able to stay on the farm throughout my life, but it wasn’t in the cards. Ended up in Denver, CO with a 40 year career in Public Mass Transit with the Denver Regional Transportation District. I envy you & Grant & keep smiling. Your smile is beautiful & contagious & keeps me watching your great video’s.
Hey Laura my name is Matthew I've been watching your channel from hemet California. One day I wanted to learn about farming and your channel appeared well I have been watching you ever since. I just love your bubbly personality your just so excited every day just love your channel and such a gourgous woman too the world needs more Laura's..lol... thanks for making me smile have a great day laura bye😀
You're the best, Laura...and so cute to boot. Can you talk sometime how a farm of your size is financed? You have a lot of expensive equipment and I just wondered how much you gain from your harvest and if it takes care of everything.
Hi There: Those belts on the alternator only need to be so tight. 1/4"" deflection with a push from a normal size finger. The bearings on water pump and alternator will be stressed out using a big prybar. Great Videos!
Your channel rocks.your very smart about farming and Grant is just as smart.and thanks to your grandpa,GRandma, and your mom and dad for being farmers so we have groceries.
So Grant is a Ridge Tiller ! My father-in-law was a ridge tiller too ! He doesn’t farm anymore, he’s 94 years old now ! He rents his farm land (300 acres) out to another ridge tiller ! Watching from SW MN !
Thanks for the crop (and maintenance) update! Also, I agree with the other comments about Grant's ability to farm and fly a drone at the same time. 🙂 Those were great shots! And happy birthday, Cale!
Thanx Grant for showing me how tractors move through planted fields (baffled me till NOW). Thank You Laura for showing me that farming IS dedication. You Are An Angel in disguise. Happy Birthday Cale. Enjoy n Please know that I only drink on BD's Soul Thank You ;)
Hey Grant, I was wondering what that machine was for, thanks for the excellent explanation. Your farming knowledge and overall abilities are very impressive.
A good practice is to allow 1/2 inch play of the fan belt when tightening. Confirmed by pushing the fan belt via the thumb. Too tight or no play will wear out the alternator bearings.
Cultivate and bring back an old memories when I was farming. Keep up the good work with your videos I totally enjoy watching them. And happy birthday to your dad from Kansas.
Whenever you get a new vehicle, bring a 5gal fuel can and run the tank dry. That way you always know how far you can go from "E" if you ever get caught again. And it's the only time you'll ever want to run the tank dry ,when it's new. You never really want to do that after a year or so of driving it. Don't forget to carry spare fuel filters and learn how to install them and where they go on your car. Once you run a tank dry, you're going to want to replace the fuel filter.
Laura may make the most attention grabbing thumbnails, but I swear Grants half of the episodes always crack me up. His dry humor is so underrated, I was cackling about the nosey neighbors watching his work. Something tells me his dad must the super stoic while wity type and Grant takes after him. That combined with Cale and Laura's wacky and jovial energeticism makes this channel so endlessly watchable, I've learned so much about row crops!
Great content! Grant’s segment was awesome. You always look prepared for anything that comes along. That was pretty talented of Cale to drive a three wheeled four wheeler 🤣 Love to see you and Ethan working together. He sure has grown up in the last couple of years. It is amazing how the tractor wheels and the blades are perfectly lined up to till I between the corn and bean rows. There are so many aspects to farming. Each season is fascinating from prep and planting to harvest! Love ❤️ you! Grammy
YES, omg that little orange lit up thingy on the upper left is your CHECK ENGINE light. i screamed it so youd get it buddy, its The most important light. Pls. go to the auto parts store and ask then to plug in a scanner and run for codes oil good temp good volt good... bet your oxygen sensor went bad.
Yep, in the past few weeks my tractor, backhoe and truck have all broke down at different times. I can't complain thou because at my age sometime I break down or something falls off. LOL
Grant, Laura.. thanks for the explanations! I work in Pharma research, so farming for me is an interesting alien world. I love how you tag team you videos. Keep it up!
With the four-wheeler broken and a crop in the field I've had some bad times, lived through some sad times But this time you need a hub seal You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel.
Nice truck Laura... I had a 2006 Chevy but not HD. I bought it second hand then my daughter drove it 2 yrs then I sold it to a friend and he is still driving it with over 200,000 mi on it. It still looks good...
We use to call rindging the corn, cultivating the corn. In my neck of the woods nobody does this anymore. Rows are planted so close together there's not enough room to cultivate . Corn use to yeild around 70 bushel a acre. The same ground now yields 180 to 200 bushel and acre.
Wow! 2x+ yield. I am a bit confused though. I read an article about increasing row spacing to improve yield. It said less plant competition for water and nutrients and more sunlight. What spacing do you use? Also, isn't there some limit. I mean, the tractor tires width imposes a limit.
Really amazing ...I like John deere brand ...hope all this kind of machine adjustable to my country(Thailand)...almost farmers here is still made old way agriculture
I may have missed it how many gallons do the tractors hold , how many mpg or hours before you are ready for refiĺl?...awesome channel !! Congrats on everything Laura!
Thank you young lady. I desperately needed to see a bright, beautiful smile, and a positive attitude also. Just thank you.
Just wanted to tell you I enjoy your videos. I am the almost 65 yr. old grandson of tobacco farmers in western North Carolina. I can remember watching the use a mule to pull stuff :) Farm on!
She’s absolutely sweet and beautiful! Her personality is golden. Every guy’s dream. She’ll be a wonderful mom!
mom??? where did that come from?? is she planning on kids?? how would you know??
@ 1:00...."does anybody see a problem"....shows dash cluster
Yep.The "check engine light" is on...
I'm amazed at the precision involved, following exactly in between the rows... wow!
BEST PART: End of the clip.. she always smiles!! Smile more ya'll
The nails look so much better natural. Gorgeous.
9:31 Grant, you should. You eat one thing at 10:47. and then you eat another thing at 11:23 and at lunch time, you eat the rest. It's actually a better way to eat.

I worked in the shipyard, for corrosion on bolts, I found nothing better than "Kroil" !
We used to call cultivating like that "throwing-in". (1950's) I wonder if that term is still used?

Here in south La. we call ridging, Lay by, we bar off, fertilize and lay by all in one pass

You're the best, Laura...and so cute to boot. Can you talk sometime how a farm of your size is financed? You have a lot of expensive equipment and I just wondered how much you gain from your harvest and if it takes care of everything.

Thank you for the explanation Grant. I was googling what ridging was until I heard you explaining it.
Only your dad could find so much fun on a three wheeled four wheeler.
I remember Larry paske and I moving water irrigation pipes by hand
