Nope. Time runs out if you stand in place, and the knights repel the boomerang. The best way is to divide and conquer. Taking a few steps back at times isn't a bad idea for example.
I still remember when I was 17 years old, I cosplayed as a female Simon Belmont for Halloween. I went with a red wig and a mink coat one of my friends made (Chronicles version), and I went to a haunted house somewhere in NY (it was held at a jail somewhere...) I had the whip (actually a prop from an old Indiana Jones costume someone was selling on eBay) and anytime an actor jumped out and scared me, I'd crack the whip on the ground/wave it at them. That was in my senior year of high school. It was so fun.
Whoever composed this possesses such an amazing talent. To achieve this kind of music with the primal sound system they had back then... It's seemingly so simple yet it contains inside it multitudes.
KvalnirFox I think the best part is that not only is this soundtrack fucking amazing and memorable, but it was composed by one of the greatest females in gaming history.
I love how Medusa Heads are so often associated with clock tower levels and instant death pits and yet the greatest challenge the they offer in the entire series takes place in a flat hallway with only 2 other enemies and no instant death. That is legenday level design right there.
@@TranceCore3 It's actually two songs, Don't Wait Until Night from Haunted Castle and Heart of Fire from this game. There's an added bridge linking the two songs together.

@LotsaSpagetti1740 No, you are not alone, the reason why they sound similar is because they both involve playing a fast sequence of notes with the second note always being the same (in guitar this is called pedalling).
This one is Heart of Fire. Don't Wait Until Night is the BGM for the final stage of Haunted Castle (the arcade version of Castlevania), and then they were both used in a medley for Julius' theme in Aria of Sorrow, hence the confusion between the two.
The base line at 34 secs is just so goddamn awesome. This is by far the Song I remember most about Castlevania. If you were lucky, you could beat Frankensteins Monster pretty fast and then Death. Like, literally. Death comes, beats you and this awesome musik repeats.

The Hyrule field theme of Zelda 1, Minish Cap and Link to the Past (OoT and TP Hyrule Field themes are different songs). It's also Termina Field, and Holodrum and Labrynna Overworld.

Meant the GBA, not sure if its used. And I'm referring to a fight in Aria of Sorrow, the one after the fake final boss (you have to have the Fire Demon, Giant Bat and Succbus Soul's equipped to continue the game)
In Aria of Sorrow this actually plays toward the end of the song entitled "Heart of Fire". The first part is mostly "Don't Wait Until Nightfall" from Haunted Castle (maybe Haunted Castle 2 or something). Overall, the AoS HoF is incredible....
Ah yes... Such Wonderful Music I remember back in 1999 how i use to listen to it as i killed wave after wave of mosters until i reached the throne room of Dracula's castle but alas, you don't want to listen to an old man rant besides, that is another story for another time.

No,that's the point of 8-bit,beeps,pings and static sounds are what should resonate more,so putting in HD makes it sound completely clean while back in the day it wasn't.
Dracula's fireballs are aimed at your position when they're fired.
