Yeah, my parents have been together for 25 years, I’m 24, and if they ever got a divorce it would make the ground crumble underneath my feet. Because I’m used to them being together for so long, it would be just as traumatising for me as an adult, as it is for little kids when they don’t really understand what’s going on. I’m glad they caught this early on and didn’t drag this unhappy relationship until there was more drama. At least they’re friendly and they’ll still meet up for holidays and events and have fun (hopefully, lol)

I have seen TONS of comments on a lot of their videos and IG posts, calling her selfish, calling her names and taking Oscars side in this breakup. I have to say that what she is doing is amazing. They have been together for so long and their main roles with each other weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, or whatever, it was Mom and Dad. They both didn't have time to find themselves, and in the end as we can see they don't mesh well as adults. I have seen people telling her that she is selfish for leaving a happy relationship for the sake of her kids. My best friends parents did that, they stayed together for the sake of her and it was a very toxic household for them. Co-parenting can be a wonderful thing, and sometimes it better for the children. I absolutely believe kids should come first, but she also has to think of her too. Good for her for doing what is best for her, and best for her family. Whether you see it that way or not, she did what is best.
I don’t think people are even trying to see her side of things simply because they don’t like her so they’re being bias she’s no longer in love or happy with the relationship why would anyone want her to stay? For him? For the kids? For their viewers? She would get dragged either way and painted as the bad guy. yeah no i agree! i turn 18 at the end of this month & growing up where my parents stayed together even though it was very toxic it created so pain for all of us. they stayed together for the kids (my sisters & i) & that never worked out. i wish ended things when they should of. i was around levi’s age when they should of spilt up & i feel like if they did we’d all be better off! not just my sisters & i but my parents. she did what was best for her & her family. no one should be shitting on kyra for taking steps to better her mental health & the relationship with the father of her kids. they need to work together in a healthy way for their kids so they can coparent. some people are in a relationship to do so but for them a working towards a friendship is better for everyone.

It’s not like that at all. Have you seen how hurt Oscar is by this? The first video that came out she was just telling the world and you could clearly see he was still trying to process everything. This was calculated by her she already had the time to process everything and then she chose to hit Oscar with it. Well she was wrong you don’t just up and leave with out trying. I can tell you that she had kids young and now that she has gotten a little bit of freedom she is realizing that by having kids so young she missed out. That is no one’s fault but her self. Now she wants to get out there and figure out who she really is , well she is going about it the wrong way. This is coming from a person who has made all the mistakes she is currently so I know how this will end. She will be okay for a little while why this is all still new but after her partying and sexual Curiosity come to a close she will be the one hurt and lost. Mark my words she will realize she made a huge mistake and tore her whole family apart just so she could have some free time. As someone who has went through this myself with my kids dad, I know how almost defeating it can feel that everyone takes his side because your the one who chose to leave and do what’s best for you. Just wanted to tell you that I’m proud of you, because I know this decision and change was far from an easy thing to do. The place looks great!

@@MaestraJager I am against declawing also, my cats don’t like any scratching post, trees, or towers, I have tried, They prefer to destroy the furniture and the doorway’s, so I put the nail covers on them, and it doesn’t even bother them. I adopted them as adults and apparently they never had a scratch pad before I had them, because there’s no interest in them. I believe that is something that has to be introduced as kittens , because I have had a cat that did like it and she had it right away.
Lol I have a cat tree and I don't think my cat's scratched it once in the six years since I got it 😅 but I just cut her claws now, makes everything a lot easier and avoids any risk of ingrown claws too!

I think a small, round kitchen table would fit that space really well! Because the couch, bar cart, and kitchen island surrounding the area are all rectangular, something circular would kind of break up the space better…. if that makes sense haha. I remember when I left my husband I did the same thing. I got myself a new build apartment for me and my 2 kids and felt so free and it was really the best feeling. Everything was MINE and I didn't have to deal with the drama and the BS that my ex always seemed to be full of. It really is the best feeling. I did meet someone soon after and 20 years later we have a great life and our daughter is about to graduate high school. But I will always remember that feeling of freedom and independence that I am sure you are feeling too right now. I don't know why people would be negative in their comments but who cares what anyone thinks. You do you!
Divorce is just awful for children to go through. Your feelings of freedom aren't worth breaking your children's hearts. Once you choose to have kids with someone you have an obligation and a duty to make it work. Unless the marriage is irrevocably broken due to abuse, both people need to do whatever it takes to fix the.relationship. Oscar is clearly not abusive. He is a kind man and a good father. Why would any woman leave a man like that, a man Kyra chose to have FOUR kids with! Couples therapy, individual therapy, working through issues like adults...this is what every couple should do before disrupting their kid's lives and creating a permanent trauma by separating them from one of their parents. It's an awful thing to do to children and it should be a last resort. I can't believe how selfish some people are.

I’m one of the lucky ones that have parents who got along, they still do in there 70s. I was 8 and I knew my parents were happier apart. I would not want to be raised with 2 parents who are unhappy. I would not do that to my kids either. I personally feel kids are better with two parents apart then two parents together and miserable and fighting all the time.

I was really lucky my parents didn’t talk negatively about each other when I was younger. I’m an adult now and I still never hear anything negative. I’m told more now that I can understand as to why they didn’t stay together. I am so thankful they didn’t stay together just for me, because they are both re married and very happy.
I have been where you are, and and judgement is insane. I ended up 4 years after the split regretting it (this is after moving on and even having another child with someone else) and now me and my previos husband of 10 years are currently working things out. Honestly this is the reason why you don't have so many kids unmarried at a young age. Playing house is cute until someone gets bored with the relationship. Each year that passed without a wedding showed they weren't serious about the relationship and makes it much easier to walk away and not put in the work to make the relationship. If it's that easy don't have so many children.

My ex and I immediately got along SOOOOO much better as soon as I moved out. It was like a switch flipped. The awkward broken up roommate phase was hard and painful, after we got that space from each other 👌🏻 friends and coparents is so much easier than awkward broken up roommates! ❤️
You should get the cats a cat tower it has helped mine with not clawing the furniture also they love having something to climb and nap on. I got 2 7 feet ones off of Amazon and it’s amazing how much they love them!
I have 2 cats and 3 cat towers in different areas of the house and they still scratch tbe couch. We did find this spray at the petstore that worked for a little while but doesnt anymore.
The grass isn’t greener on the other side remember that. Usually the one that broke up with the other sees things all fine and dandy..that’s until the one being broke up with moves on and becomes happy. Oscar will do just fine. God bless you guys and the kids

Navigating this huge life change would be so difficult in itself let alone feeling like you have to explain yourself to a million strangers who see 15mins of your life each week and somehow think they know more about it than you do... As a kid I would go to friends houses and their parents were always fighting, yet my parents who weren't together but were best friends, were coparenting better than most married parents. I'm the youngest and so I have no memory of the split and I'm honestly so grateful for them not staying together. So I'm really excited and happy for you guys! I can't wait to see where this new chapter takes you both as individuals, as friends and as coparents (as long as it doesn't take either of you off YT lol)

This feels very Britney and baby. In a couple months there will suddenly be a new man that she just so quickly fell in love with and they will be married and have a baby in a year.
I had a kitchen table with benches. It was horrible. It looked nice but I was constantly bruising my knees on it trying to get up from the table. If you want benches maybe pick a table that is supported in the middle not at the sides. Another problem I had with it was the benches don't just slide back like a chair when I tried to get up from being seated. Instead they would tip backwards and fall and hit the floor. I would lose my balance trying to catch it. It was not a safe option. My cats loved it though so if you get one and dont like it it makes a wonderful cat toy. And one more issue, after I had it for a while the table started sinking in the middle.
I’m so proud of you! And honestly you and Oscar being so open throughout this process has probably helped so many other couples! I agree. I wish more parents could see that staying together unhappy for the kids is acutely doing more damage than having 2 happy parents. So many times I have heard couples say they are only together for the kids, then when the kids grow up they separate. I dont know just my opinion.

My only suggestion is definitely get a cat tree, one with beds and sisal rope. The second I got scratch posts my cat immediately stopped ruining my furniture. I have a plain square scratch only one as well she loves.

Yeah, my parents have been together for 25 years, I’m 24, and if they ever got a divorce it would make the ground crumble underneath my feet. Because I’m used to them being together for so long, it would be just as traumatising for me as an adult, as it is for little kids when they don’t really understand what’s going on. I’m glad they caught this early on and didn’t drag this unhappy relationship until there was more drama. At least they’re friendly and they’ll still meet up for holidays and events and have fun (hopefully, lol)

I have seen TONS of comments on a lot of their videos and IG posts, calling her selfish, calling her names and taking Oscars side in this breakup. I have to say that what she is doing is amazing. They have been together for so long and their main roles with each other weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, or whatever, it was Mom and Dad. They both didn't have time to find themselves, and in the end as we can see they don't mesh well as adults. I have seen people telling her that she is selfish for leaving a happy relationship for the sake of her kids. My best friends parents did that, they stayed together for the sake of her and it was a very toxic household for them. Co-parenting can be a wonderful thing, and sometimes it better for the children. I absolutely believe kids should come first, but she also has to think of her too. Good for her for doing what is best for her, and best for her family. Whether you see it that way or not, she did what is best.

yeah no i agree! i turn 18 at the end of this month & growing up where my parents stayed together even though it was very toxic it created so pain for all of us. they stayed together for the kids (my sisters & i) & that never worked out. i wish ended things when they should of. i was around levi’s age when they should of spilt up & i feel like if they did we’d all be better off! not just my sisters & i but my parents. she did what was best for her & her family. no one should be shitting on kyra for taking steps to better her mental health & the relationship with the father of her kids. they need to work together in a healthy way for their kids so they can coparent. some people are in a relationship to do so but for them a working towards a friendship is better for everyone.

It’s not like that at all. Have you seen how hurt Oscar is by this? The first video that came out she was just telling the world and you could clearly see he was still trying to process everything. I can tell you that she had kids young and now that she has gotten a little bit of freedom she is realizing that by having kids so young she missed out. That is no one’s fault but her self. As someone who has went through this myself with my kids dad, I know how almost defeating it can feel that everyone takes his side because your the one who chose to leave and do what’s best for you. @@MaestraJager I am against declawing also, my cats don’t like any scratching post, trees, or towers, I have tried, They prefer to destroy the furniture and the doorway’s, so I put the nail covers on them, and it doesn’t even bother them. I adopted them as adults and apparently they never had a scratch pad before I had them, because there’s no interest in them. I believe that is something that has to be introduced as kittens , because I have had a cat that did like it and she had it right away.
Lol I have a cat tree and I don't think my cat's scratched it once in the six years since I got it 😅 but I just cut her claws now, makes everything a lot easier and avoids any risk of ingrown claws too!

I remember when I left my husband I did the same thing. I got myself a new build apartment for me and my 2 kids and felt so free and it was really the best feeling. Everything was MINE and I didn't have to deal with the drama and the BS that my ex always seemed to be full of. It really is the best feeling. I did meet someone soon after and 20 years later we have a great life and our daughter is about to graduate high school. But I will always remember that feeling of freedom and independence that I am sure you are feeling too right now. Divorce is just awful for children to go through. Your feelings of freedom aren't worth breaking your children's hearts. Once you choose to have kids with someone you have an obligation and a duty to make it work. Unless the marriage is irrevocably broken due to abuse, both people need to do whatever it takes to fix the.relationship. Oscar is clearly not abusive. He is a kind man and a good father. Why would any woman leave a man like that, a man Kyra chose to have FOUR kids with! Couples therapy, individual therapy, working through issues like adults...this is what every couple should do before disrupting their kid's lives and creating a permanent trauma by separating them from one of their parents. It's an awful thing to do to children and it should be a last resort. I can't believe how selfish some people are.

I love that you guys are doing everything you can to keep a positive co parenting relationship. My parents hated each other when they separated and it sucked hearing them always talk so negatively about the other to me and my siblings.
I was really lucky my parents didn’t talk negatively about each other when I was younger. I’m an adult now and I still never hear anything negative. I’m told more now that I can understand as to why they didn’t stay together. I am so thankful they didn’t stay together just for me, because they are both re married and very happy.

Navigating this huge life change would be so difficult in itself let alone feeling like you have to explain yourself to a million strangers who see 15mins of your life each week and somehow think they know more about it than you do...
As a kid I would go to friends houses and their parents were always fighting, yet my parents who weren't together but were best friends, were coparenting better than most married parents. I'm the youngest and so I have no memory of the split and I'm honestly so grateful for them not staying together.
So I'm really excited and happy for you guys! I can't wait to see where this new chapter takes you both as individuals, as friends and as coparents (as long as it doesn't take either of you off YT lol)

I had a kitchen table with benches. It was horrible. It looked nice but I was constantly bruising my knees on it trying to get up from the table. If you want benches maybe pick a table that is supported in the middle not at the sides. Another problem I had with it was the benches don't just slide back like a chair when I tried to get up from being seated. Instead they would tip backwards and fall and hit the floor. I would lose my balance trying to catch it. It was not a safe option. My cats loved it though so if you get one and dont like it it makes a wonderful cat toy. And one more issue, after I had it for a while the table started sinking in the middle.
I’m so proud of you! And honestly you and Oscar being so open throughout this process has probably helped so many other couples! It takes a lot of courage to leave a relationship and choose yourself let alone in front of hundreds of thousands of people. I agree. I wish more parents could see that staying together unhappy for the kids is acutely doing more damage than having 2 happy parents. So many times I have heard couples say they are only together for the kids, then when the kids grow up they separate. I dont know just my opinion.

My only suggestion is definitely get a cat tree, one with beds and sisal rope. The second I got scratch posts my cat immediately stopped ruining my furniture. I have a plain square scratch only one as well she loves.

Oh god do I agree pillow and stuffing for children is my top recommendation not to by let others do it if they want but after they are old they dont need them.
You're doing so good for yourself and those babies. You can see that both you and oscar are benefiting from this obviously its hard but I think you both will do so better and you will coparent so great for those kids.
