Bearger isn't much of a boss anyway, he arrives, raids your fridge and then leaves into a forest to find some mushrooms/spiders to eat.
Or he's your favourite lumberjack, and now unemployed since Cobblestones dont cost wood anymore
Your surface RNG was atrocious but your ocean RNG was god tier. Regardless, that was pristine execution. I agree with all of your ideas for making boss runs more consistent and less dependent on luck. If Klei refuses to add a way to force spawn Bearger then this should be the new standard for boss rushing. Absolutely no good reason why you should waste half a season waiting for a boss to randomly spawn at the end of a near flawless run.
As much as I like Jakeyosaurus and have watched 90% of his DST content, his videos have become too high-energy and loud these days, so I really love your boss runs, Cat Person! Your vibe is calm and relaxing! Always a good day when you upload!

Players still pick him to do stuff fast anyway. Now that's how you know a character is busted
Having double damage still means you need 50% less resources for every boss fight so ofc he's still useful for speedruns.

@@zurcus7224 Besides, speed isn't that sacred anymore, so the speed boost didn't matter all that much, and the feature felt more a trait of an athletic person, rather than a strong person, so they removed it and made him have less speed penalty when using or carrying heavy objects.

I think for speed runs, it's ok to ignore Bearger. Maybe if Bearger could be spawned at will (like Deerclops with the flare), that would make speed running more fun.

i believe some cave exits led to nowhere because the surface and the caves generate separately and since the surface was small and the caves were medium there were more exits than entrances
