For a person who has 200+ lineups I haven't seen one that worked or actually did something. This whole video I was face palming, why did you make me experience this eggwick.

@@arubikcubethatshouldnthave4440 That A orb isn't great and should be deeper into screens. Not being flush with the entrance gives the retakers options to enter site.
The wall covering A heaven can be good, but it can done at a more consistent spot.
The wall at B is unnecessary when Sage is on the team. The orb is okay, but again unnecessary with Sage on the team.
There are better versions of these lineups

I’m surprised he’s silver at all … at least from this video it seems he barely understands the basic fundamentals of Valorant. Even all that by the wayside, he doesn’t even know how to use his own (bad) lineups to his advantage.
As a hardstuck iron viper main who thought line ups were the way out of this, I highly relate to this. Now with I just play whatever and focus on my aim so I can be hardstuck bronze.
Oh nah the only reason I'm silver is because I don't grind comp. I used to be hardstuck silver, but i grinded to gold ep 3 then quit after that.
Lineups are only situational, most of the times holding site with your team is the bettrr alternative. Game Sens and Crosshair Placement are the crucial ones, then obviously aiming comes into place.

That one-way he used on B is supposed to be played from under heaven ropes, because people entering the site don't have vision and u get easy picks from ropes. playing from default exposes your legs too, so he was playing the one-way wrong the whole time. This one-way is useless if there's a sage in the opposite team, as they just wall off the rope angle when attacking. So a deeper one-way that actually works from default is better.

U can use that one way from back of site on top of boxes. If you are on ground they can see you crouching or even staying a bit back in garage.
@@prasunaakash7044 They can see you on top of the box in that specific one-way, I just tried in-game. You can play from box if you throw the one-way a bit to the left on the ledge, but you won't be able to see them in main, so it's kind of pointless

1:13 there's actually better ways to use this kind of one way in B Split, either you use the triangle hole on the beam or place it in the left lamp closer to main after the wall down.

I can't imagine the effort that goes into learning 200 lineups. This is something n00bs and sometimes even somewhat experienced players fall for over and over again. Knowing a hundred doesn't make you good. Having good a foundation and basics does. Good basics will eventually help in identifying weaknesses in other areas and improve the game overall.

Yeah, in the beginning I was only playing her like she is no lineups, then started to learn only one ways, but GOOOD ONE WAYS not that bs in the garage, idk how it might be ever useful. With one ways you either have to have elevation on enemies or distance non was met with that one . Walls were not that great, they took space from his team and gave extra for the enemy. I dont wanna be rude, but more like a bronze game rather than silver. And split is quite good for viper as well
bro ive been playing the game for a year now and im sill only bronze T_T (couldnt play much either because of school) but what are some foundations needed in playing valorant? Besides aim and game sense (though i feel like game sense is such a broad term for different things)

I’ve basically lost all my respect for people playing for lineups after all the rounds that have been thrown by my teammate running to spawn to play lineups in a 2v1 and getting shot because we didn’t know where he was
That is actually big part of using lineups. Knowing when to lineups. I used to play Viper prior to this act , and so initially I also used to always go for lineups every round before realizing slowly when to go and when to not go and instead play with players on site.

He keeps sweeping the floor, has good viper walls (attack), uses abilities without any gunplay to help defend a site, couldve stayed in site a lot longer and just use lineups when 2v1 or 1v1 situation. Yes you could win 1v5 lineups but its better to help get trades and space for the site. really praying for the guy to get out of hardstuck.
As a viper main with tons of lineups, don't play them every round. It's only useful ~2-3 rounds a half. Also, don't make more than 1 lineup for 1 spot. Rotation lineups are cool but throwing 2 mollies in the air before you die will still suffice.
About the 1 way on B main:
- That one-way does not really work because it is too close to the entrance. Other one-ways on the light are further back, and thus attackers do not have distance required to have the angle necessary to see your feet.
Also, if someone goes to the very back, they will be able to see you anyway, unless you are on top of the barrels.
- Second, if you are going to use one-ways, you either have a phantom-spectre or you move constantly so that they do not need just to spray back and kill you.
I have used the oneway multiple times, and it works fine for what it is, which most of the time is to halt the attack completely, sinc epeople will learn and only die once in the game from the same trick.

That one-way from the first clip was pure pain. They didn't even play around it properly (it was positioned in a way where the enemy has the advantage as they stood right next to it) + there are better one-ways for that same area that works more effectively

For a person who used to be in Silver but recently hit gold, the comms dont die and dont throw actually work, they make ur teammates think about what they are doing and reduces the amount of times they die for no reason by 53.7%

That first split lineup does work on viper but not that exact spot, there’s a way to put it further in the tunnel to actually cover the view of the attackers.
And yes I’m a viper nerd and I regret spending hours on customs for lineups I don’t even get to use lmao
i also play viper usually(mainly lol) but tbh i really dont know much lineups and i dont depend on them, i used to think that when u know lineups u are umm something extraordinary lol but thats not the case..

The b site viper one way actually works when viper is crouched on top of the box backsight (the small one that u can climb on). Have played against that one way and when executed properly its quite powerful as it takes a while to realize vipers position. I really Gabe me a headache
I stopped playing Viper this act but I can say that one way( at 3:30) he's using does work just it works from back side if you climb on boxes or else they can easily crouch to see you. It's very efficient on Cypher because of the perfect cage height and so I don't use it every round. (Usually on half buys)
The b lobby smoke one way works when u hold from heaven/hell. There is a deeper smoke that works from b site that u can only throw when the barrier drops

That viper smoke line up only works if you peek from the stairs of default plant B. Lower than that, enemy can see you too

3:45 The one way works he is playing from the young angle and is placing it in the wrong spot, typically you would want to stand right next to triple boxes on split A site in the corner and line your crosshair with the corner of the top left triangle so it bounces against the buy phase barrier so it stays in place. Kinda hard to explain. 1:06 you should be standing where his crosshair is pointed at to do the one way

3:41 he is putting his one way too close to the site, there's another line up for a one way which the orb sits inside the lamps right close to the ult orb, then you run and keep holding it in backsite, super effective btw, playing neon only right noq but i used o be a viper main for a year and half, its much better to have 1 simple line up per site than having 200 and only some of them being effective

honestly - i am not surprised he didn't have a lineup for something while knowing 200 lineups on 2 agents. I learned like 100+ lineups in total, for all maps, just for sova and i always felt like i needed to learn more, so i could cover more situations (i no longer play like this and don't want to come back to studying lineups like that). Also if he had multiple lineups for same place, then it really is not surprising, that he doesn't cover more spots

as a kayo main lineups can be useful especially post but they are better when its a 1v1 or 1v2. They just dont come into play much and the molly can be used much better to make space for your team or hold back enemy pushes/clearing corners. Lineups are often looked down apon but if you play an agent that has lineups it can be beneficial to take some time to learn like one for each site because they can come in handy as long as you dont rly on them

What i dont think high elo players get is that most low elo players such as myself naturally go to a on haven first round or a on icebox mainly going to the site on our rightbut split is being the exception of the going right rule as its easier to push garage low elo as there is no resistance

A cypher main here, I think the one way only works with cypher in my opinion because the smoke is to high or too small or is it because the cypher cages can over the feet
I play lineups too but I only use them 1-4times per game.

As someone who only knows some viper lineups, they are very situational due to the nerf. Brim lineups are ok, it just needs to be timed correctly.
I HATE playing with and against people that only do lineups. The only thing worse would be the instalock jett that goes 1-10

As a viper main... That split 1 way doesn't work because of the distance... It's a 1 way that's true... But for the enemy... You can't see them by they can see your feet... The only viper 1 way in B that works is near the lights in that hall

There is a much better b-site one-way for viper on defense that throws and lands past the buy barrier once it’s down. It goes on top of the fluorescent lights in a very finniky spot.
