3:20 I have to say, this is the first story I’ve heard where someone walked RIGHT into a fairy trap, but was so insufferable that they put him right back.
Also, I’ve been following your channel for just a few months now, and every single video has just been delightful

Dartmoor is where my father's ancestors are from. The house that was the inspiration for The Hound of the Baskervilles was where part of the family lived, other parts of the family also ran many farms on the Moor. Indeed, parts of the family are still farming on the Moor:the families are the Nosworthy's and the Smerdon's, they have been in Devon for over a thousand years and longer. I have always felt an affinity for this part of Devon.

Oh how wonderful, I totally get that deep feeling from ancestry into today. My husband has it as well with his long long long time family connection to both Devon and Dartmoor... in the blood :)

Hello, would you be willing to share your personal relationship with the vile (fey) and if you leave them offerings?

I completely agree with the introduction. People interacted with the fey and other creatures on a regular basis in the old days. In my homeland of Hercegovina the existence of Elves was as assured as the sun and moon.
However I feel that our obsession with dominating and twisting the land, and distraction from healthy and normal things with the nonsense that the modern life brings, ruined this connection.
