In Korea, your looks are very important especially if your a celebrity. There has been many times in the past where celebrities were harassed online for their bare face. Kim Nam Joo is an extremely famous and veteran actress. It would damage her reputation if she looked “bad” on camera. So in order to protect her image, she didn’t show her bare face. Also, she already ate dinner before BTS knocked on her door. The whole purpose of “Lets eat dinner together” is to find a house where people didn’t eat yet and have a meal with them. There’s no point in her opening the door if she already ate. Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean she HAS to greet BTS at the door. In fact, if you watch the whole episode, not all of the people who’s doors were rang greeted BTS by the door. There were multiple different reasons of why she didn’t open her door and one of them was to protect her image.
Just know that if BTS ever shows up at my house I’m letting them in! Period! And cooking a 10 course meal until 4am if that’s what their beautiful hearts desire!
