Hi, I've been to Mesa Verde, and it's truly amazing. It's not too crowded and nearby Cortez, Colorado has good restaurants and accomodations. In the surrounding areas are a number of reservations, and some of these have cliff dwellings as well. About 20 years ago my wife and kids and I were at a little souvenir shop around 10 miles from Cortez, and saw a note on a little bulletin board inside. It offered guided tours for $50. We called the number and within 10 minutes a resident of the reservation showed up in a van. He said we could ride with or follow him. We opted to follow, and were shortly on tribal land. He showed us all kinds of small ancient cliff dwellings which, unlike nearby Mesa Verde, you could climb up in. There were a lot of petroglyphs scattered around on some of the rock faces. What got me was how little headroom there was in these places, but then the Anasazi weren't very tall.

Incredible video. It would be fun to visit each site and do a pictorial.
Alas, I hate to say I'm to old to do it but maybe someone will pick up the mantle and run with it.

If you've ever looked into this subject before all of the ones you mention are well known.

I've been interested a long time of lost cities like a mystic The lost city of Atlantis but I haven't heared much of a hidden cities but Iknow there's hidden city inside a rock on old area Anatolia's Turkey's Kappadokia where is a hotels and even a cities inside of a cave and that's one of reasons why I wan't to visit on Eurasia's Turkey. I have a dream to discover a hidden city on near of my home, there's really BIG forests around us and I've been discovered an old high teepee and rockwalls middle of forest, can I really be an adventurer and archeology who's find a hidden city? 🌍🌏🏞🏜🏛🕌🏯🏰
