Kayla is the most elegant and graceful gymnast till now! Look at his head, neck posture: never looks down! Very mobile! I hope he gets gold, she deserves!

Nemour has changed her routine and now opens with the inbar 1/1 and connects into the inbar Nabieva for 0.2 CV. If everything else remains the same, this increases her overall SV by 0.1 since previously the inbar 1/1 was connected to the dismount for 0.1 CV only.
Qiu will need to add connections and have near perfect execution to catch Nemour for gold.
Yes, I had noticed but did the analysis a while back. She is even better now. She was significantly ahead of Qiu and I agree with you. If Nemour hits, I think it would be incredibly difficult for any body to beat her. I would love to see her hit her routine. thanks and my best.
In Chinese nationals Qiu Qiyuan added an inbar piked tkachev to connect to her Pak, bringing her D score up to 7.2. Same as Nemour. But she only did it once on video.
Gold is Nemour to lose. In qualification she lost a connection and still hit 7.1 with 8.6 execution. Qiu has never hit that score.

Rebecca Downie had the highest bars score yesterday in TF. I think bars is going to be a real bloodbath. Kaylia seem to be in pole position for gold but Qiu is not far behind and Suni, Downie, Derwell and others can definitely medal as well. CAN'T WAIT!
I am curious if any of them will make an additions of difficulty. Kaylia set seems locked. Its all connected so more risky but she does hit her set most of the time. Rebecca is right there and I think they all have to hit solid for medals - no room for errors. It will be intense I think. Rock on.
@@OLYMPIANTEACHES-bh6gp I think Suni will attempt to upgrade because at this stage it is all or nothing. Not sure what the others have in store but it all comes down to each of the gymnasts state of mind and how they view the competition. It certainly will be an interesting event.

Just so you know, Qiu is her surname. Qiyuan is her given name. Chinese just puts the surname first. Great analysis
To make it easier, in China whenever you see anything more than one Syllable is the name and the one syllable is the surname
I feel like with his gymnastics experience and especially his international experience, he definitely knew that.

They are both acceptable, meant to be respectful. I’m sure I will make mistakes, but I always try to be respectful. Thanks for the information and your insights and my best.
I'm sure that Kaylia's leg separation in the air would be a deduction. But she has such difficulty and otherwise amazing execution, it should not keep her from getting the GOLD!
@@kristinae.7084 yes, my thoughts exactly. From the head on angle, you can see her leg separations more distinctly. Her difficulty seems to convincingly override that as she has such a start high value as you said.

Amazing video. I did however notice that the gymnast on your thumbnail isn't Qiu Qiyuan. Looks like Qi Qi, a forefront chinese gymnast from last quad.

Great video with interesting technical insights. I was a little bummed that there was no mention of how Kaylia connects almost her whole routine whereas Qiu does something like 5 kip casts during her set. Hopefully Kaylia will lead the final push in women's uneven bars transforming from a support event (originally men's parallel bars set at differing heights) to a fully swinging event like the high bar where stopping and empty swings are a deduction.
You are right, I should mention that more as it greatly helps set her apart. I have done a couple videos of Kaylia and the one I put in this analyses was not as in depth. kayla was overscored and qqy was underscored, with that i can see kaylia winning, partial judges. kaylia had: -0.3 on her nemour for leg separation, -0.3 on her komova for leg separation, -0.3 on her ezhiva for leg separation, -0.3 flexed feet in all of her inbars. that alone is 1.2, not to mention bent arms, the dismount ( that also have deduction for leg separation) QQY did not have her best routine but it was definitely more than 8.266… Sad because i wanted to see a real competition at finals, but we know judges always underscore chinese gymnasts at the olympics.

@@KellsSmith1244 ain’t that the truth. In the circus, they do easy tricks and try to make them look difficult. In gymnastics they do the hard tricks and try to make them look easy and they do that well. My best respectfully, they do pretty crazy stuff in the circus too ha ha ha.

She tried to go full difficulty today but she had a major mistake which cost her a lot not only in execution but also in difficulty. Other than that the rest of the routine was marvellous but that was a serious mistake she did today. We will see how it will go on the finals, China had a disastrous final today…. As usual…
