100% deserve a spot. They were BETTER than three of the Big Four. The other three just had better promotion. Great band, great albums, great songs, great riffs, loyal fan base, regular rotation on Headbangers Ball, there was just that inexplicable "something " that kept them from breaking through to the next level.
