This is cool Dave. I planing to use Kick scooter for my short trip in Tokyo&Osaka too but not tough like your trip. for me just for less walking. First, I wondering that i can kick it instead of walk on street or footpath. Is it legal? Can i bring it in JR Train or Bus? but i see this clip,i think it should be fine^^ or anything i should know. Can you suggest me? Thank you

I didn't have a problem on trains or footpaths or roads, I think you can do it anywhere
