Pd, you need to know their lore/story they made up to this point. They tell them in video labelled "world view" for each comeback. So basically, World view 1: They are 6 fairies who were born without wings and was bullied by other fairies, so they became friends. One day, Dia (green highlight hair) found a pair of broken wings and took it to her friends. Then, she gets nightmare of a witch saying that if the wings are return to her before the red moon, she will grant all 6 of them a pair of shining wings and if not, everything they dear will die. So, the 6 fairies enter the dark woods to find the witch. World view 2: During their journey, they took a rest. One by one they fell asleep until only Dayeong (pink hair) was awake. She suddenly heard the whispers of the witch. The witch said that they will not make it by red moon at this pace. She told her to sacrifice one of the fairy to her and she will give 5 of them wings with her's the shiniest. Dayeong then took the wings they found and hid it. She then wakes up the other fairies except Dia. She framed Dia for the missing wings because Dia was the last one who was holding it. She said that Dia is trying to keep the wings for herself. The other fairies doubted at first but later was convinced by Dayeong. The 5 of them then lift sleeping Dia and throw her off a cliff. World view 3: Dia awakens, at the bottom of the cliff, alone. A butterfly flew towards Dia telling her to drink a potion to make the pain disappear. Dia drank it and the sky became red. She then ran through the wood like a beast. Back to the other 5 fairies, they continued their journey but later decided to look for Dia to take the broken wings. They followed a footprint and came across a mysterious door that they believe was where the witch is. They entered the door. At yhe end of this video, it was revealed that the footprint was Dia's and she entered the door with the butterfly. The butterfly then transform into an entity with only one wing.
one thing i've noticed about pixy's music videos is that they ALWAYS enhance and accent the parts where the music hits harder and it just makes the song that much more impactful. it's honestly so great to see such quality work from a small company group
seriously, if anyone watching likes the work pixy and the teams behind them are doing and you're able to, I'd really recommend buying their albums and telling people about them. they consistently haven't been selling that well (like in the realm of 500-1k), so they're not in the best position right now. they're great performers and their discography just gets better and better.
I'd love to help support them, I think they definitely need it. Unfortunately I don't think I'm game to buy actual CDs, so I was wondering if there was a particular go-to site/resource to buy K-pop digitally?
@@lon242 It will for sure! I am going to buy all the albums when I next get my money too. Hopefully more people who like them will follow and we can help make them a big success
pixy and ateez are almost on the same level for me. ateez are my ults and seeing them grow sonically, visually and choreography wise was amazing. they've had good music since debut that just got better and better and pixy is doing the same. the songs steadily get better and same for the mv. they're both from small companies and have absolutely stunning choreography. i'm really looking forward to witnessing pixy's growth the same way ateez is growing
I don't know much about Ateez cus I don't follow boy groups but everyone is saying "Ateez is the boy version of Dreamcatcher" so I can clearly say Pixy, Ateez and Dreamcatcher is kinda similar and I love this (I'm gonna check out Ateez too)
Honestly Wings was already insane and I couldn't believe they had Let me know as their 1st comeback. Like HOW??? And this just confirmed it for me, ROTY. No questions asked *at all* they're wild man
I don't know how the budget situation is going, because they didn't really make enough money from the previous mini-album (they only sold like 1k-ish) so they probably aren't working with a bigger budget this time honestly. We saw a lot of this kind of MV in Let Me Know, but they clearly got a better handle on basically everything. My presumption as to why a lot of this looks so much better than Let Me Know is just that they learned from each MV filming and just refining every part of the process, upgrading equipment, better techniques, etc. Regardless, the fact they've managed to vastly improve upon the work with however much they had is insane. Everything has just elevated for PIXY in all aspects and I can't wait to see how high they can fly. This comeback was everything I wanted from them and more.
@@Aoir I'd say that, but there's definitely parts of Let Me Know that they didn't splurge on. Some of those sets are just one film location, while others they clearly built. In fact, they're clever in reusing sets but in different ways or some simple backdrops. The Dajeong scene with the blue roses in LMK, is the same location as the glass window they dance in front of, which is the same as the location where they burn the wings and dance in front of it. All one location, with clever resourcefulness to make it look like they've made new entire sets. The rest of the sets were floating circular lights, the chandelier fixture, Ella around lots of flowers, some fabric floating from the ceiling, a tree with sand around it, and a plain white backdrop. Not cheap by any means, but not as expensive as other groups do when you think about it. Even Dia's metallic walls with the dog are just thin walls they made with some clever lighting and a big fixture. Even the CGI at then end isn't totally expensive. They make do with what money they have and make some interesting but still plain sets when you look back at it. A lot of ways to make something look more expensive is to have good editing, lighting and cinematography, which they clearly have. I do think Addicted is definitely miles away better in every aspect, but clearly they learned from Let Me Know.
the music producers are the teacher who handed out the assignment, and the, members, video/editing team, choreographers, and stylists are all the students, which makes this a perfect example of "they understood the assignment", they ALL thoroughly understood.
This is seriously theyre best comeback. I really believe they are my pick for rookies of 2021. It’s so good. I can’t believe it doesn’t have 1 million views yet! I feel like this needs 20 million views. Their live performances are so strong too it’s so impressive. I also love that the members get to participate in the production of the comebacks a lot, since that’s so rare to see for girl groups especially.
I'm truly glad to see others appreciating Pixy as much. Their label Allart is genuinely really great to me, they treat the girls so well and also give them a lot of input in their own content, such as the storyline which is co-written by one of the members and choices as for which song should be the title track. It's really great to see a small company do, give and grow so much with a group (if only it weren't for some of their small English spelling mistakes). I'm sure that sooner or later, they'll be an incredibly well-recognized group.
Pixy is the underrated gem of kpop. Watch.. sooner or later they’re going to make it big and I will be honored to say that ive been a fan of them since the start.
20:55 as someone who's been learning kpop dances for a few years I completely agree with you, even though some parts resemble the typical gg dances the whole dance feels more like a bg dance
They said during their reaction that the blood in the main set, the walls and the floor, were painted by hand by the staff. Leads me to believe most of the sets and props were handmade. What a piece of art.
I don't get speechless by music videos but this one. This one absolutely blew me away. I had to rewatch it multiple times to fully take it in. This comeback made me fall in love with Pixy so much 😭😭
Imo, this is best song from 4th generation group. Very dramatic and creepy MV, great electro music (esp chorus), flawless bridge with piano, strong vocals and dances, unique rapline.
I am so proud of them. They truly started from the bottom - low budget, small label, not a lot of recognition. And they’ve improved so much, so fast. I truly hope people get the chance to follow along on their journey - it’s an absolute pleasure.
The entire production of the song, the choreo, the outfits, the concept, everything about this song screams boy group. And I'm here for it. I heard their other songs, and while not bad they still had that standard girl group style. This just hits completely different, and I hope they stay on this path.
*Pixy's debut made me my epic girl-group senses tingle-* And after their first mini album and first comeback they jumped right into my top 3 ult ggs. They're _that_ good. They have all they need to become one of the greatest girl groups in Kpop history, well, they're only lacking more recognition and following, but that will definitely change over time ^^ My favorite track from them continues on being Wings (debut song), but Addicted comes second... man ALL of their songs so far have been incredibly good :D
I’m so happy they a channel as big as yours is reacting to Pixy. They deserve way more recognition. Definitely ROTY for me. It’s a butterfly. They’re a reoccurring theme in their lore
Same, my new fav girl group. You can tell everyone working with them cares about the work they do. Also big props to the girls for presenting everyone’s work perfectly!
One of the best releases of the year musically speaking but also for the mv. I'm really proud of them because i feel that they are gaining more attention. Also what an amazing job you did with the thumbnail, simply stunning
I was shocked when they dropped this, I had extremely high expectations of this comeback (I LOVE Pixy), and they still managed to surpass my expectations. I love the whole album so much, couldn't be happier with this comeback. So far, my favorite comeback this year by far.
24:18 THAT CUT TO DIA THEN BACK IS SI SICK IM GONNA BE IN COMMA. the way the flickering lights sync up with the drums and show of Dia's eyes IS SOOOOOOO GOD DAM FABULOUS
This comeback was insane, I was expecting good music from them like before, but this was beyond expectations. Their B side Bewitched is also really good
Dunno how many people would agree with me, but honestly PIXY feels like what Dreamcatcher might have been if they had debuted last year instead of in 2017. I love both groups soooooooo much, and I could just be crazy but it really feels like a progression of style for me.
1000% agree with everything you said from “Wings” to this MIND BLOWN. Best song/choreography for me this year. I’m praying this song Pixy gets more attention, they deserve it. I can’t wait to see them on a bigger stage performing “Addicted” bc I’m addicted to this comeback.
the producer of this song did AMAZING. Man. the team for pixy is really working hard. This song is PERFECT in terms of tecnic (dance, song...voices...) pixy is really good
It seems like PIXY are being managed similarly to a boy group as you don’t usually see this type of mv, song and choreography from girl groups. Which is so fun and exciting to see happen now :D
I'm addicted to this song. Actually I felt the influence from VIXX, but, now with a more unique style and I think PIXY is finally knowing what their sound is.
you should dive deeper into their storyline! it’s really interesting and they incorporate it into the music videos really well - you can notice it but it’s not in your face & distracting
@@xsomili5501 - these are all of pixy’s official videos with lore in it, the “world views” are what explain the story, and then you can see elements of it in the teasers & mv’s :) i haven’t watched fan videos related to their storyline but i’m sure there are some th-cam.com/play/PLQgfbu5oP4e4l_d5bnK-w9xJ0W49i4nw2.html
So the main thing that I notice most with PIXY's choreo is it's less like..."Standard dance oriented" kpop. It's grand, theatrical, and HOLY powerful. Yeah it definitely carries a lot of masculine dance elements for sure. PD PIXY literally hit my ult list on debut. They're SO fucking strong its just unreal.
I think they are competing for top 3 of my girl group list right now. Everything they release is just fantastic and their concept is so interesting, the music is fierce, and they perform so well. Bewitched and The Moon are some of my favorite B-sides of any group ever. I stan! 🧚♀️✨
I also felt like the chores and song could have been done by a boy group but they made it their own and brought in feminine energy. It's just good and badass.
DUDE. This music video is insanely compelling, and the visual presentation has matured in a way that still feels theatrical and dark without as much saturated angst. And I agree about the rapping!!! Lola’s repetitive rhyme schemes felt super thematic with the “I can’t get enough” vibe, and Satbyeol’s presentation was PHENOMENAL and I loved the idea of “winning” at the game of attraction in her lines. This is a group to keep a close eye on. 💖💖💖
I haven't felt so proud, amazed and in love with a group like PIXY, since I discovered LOONA. And that really says something about their unique sound, feel, storyline, visuals and over all talent. I am SO proud of this comeback and I really hope they will be getting more recognition. Thank you for reacting to it! I requested it on twitter and I am so happy for you to do it!
Yes. All of PIXY title track MV is produced by Swisher! The video, the music.... Everyone is upgrading their works and this one is.... breathtaking. EDIT after completed watching PD's reactions: YESS. I'm lost at words, but I'm agree with all the points above, about how this is such a dramatic comeback for them. THE UPGRADE! I also searched about their previous comeback - they were only partnered with Synnara and Musicart. Now in this comeback they've partnered with MMT and have their own content just released! And you said they should be proud of themselves for this comeback. One point I wanna brought is **I love how they put the complete credits on the ending** - this is such a great work and they deserved to be recognized for this work. All the four track (and their variants) are amazing. Can't wait to see the performance video btw. And I know they won't be on Studio CHOOM (they might have to raise their budget? their connection? to be able to partnered with M2? might have to make a reality show on M2 too to get featured on it just like Just B/E'LAST/perhaps Lightsum soon) but since PIXY distributing thru Genie Music, I really hope they can appear on genie's Play Color. I also wondered why they don't appear on Music Bank tho (but they're confirmed for all the other music shows so far...)
I have been drawn to PIXY from day one because of their performance potential, and not that their first two songs didn’t have impact (I mean I love Wings), but Addicted as a song finally completely matches their potential on every level. Their rappers (Lola and Satbyeol) are so unique and charismatic, and all of them have absolutely insane stage presence. I also really love that they have a consistent choreo style along with their style sonically. It’s intense, creative (movement and formation wise), and full-body (whereas a lot of gg choreo is very hand movement focused), and Addicted is just another step up in that department. Like you said, they have developed, maintained, and cemented a style, but this song is a gigantic quality step up. I am so obsessed with them and can’t wait to see what else they do
I haven't really looked into PIXY, but after this comeback I think i'm going to have to delve deeper. Loved the creativity and the cinematography, just everything about this was spectacular. I have to say this was so refreshing and seeing you review this PD was such a treat. Great work!
This whole experience of an MV is such a masterpiece that every damn body needs to hear it. Thank you for covering this and breaking it's greatness down
Damn, everything about Pixy is so delightful. Their music is gorgeous, their concept is driving me crazy, their choreography is top notch, rap line is absolutely the best among girl groups... They are so crazy good! Please provide them with support!
PD's reaction was exactly mine. This is jaw dropping quality! I liked some of their debut songs but honestly I didn't even remember them. Well, that was a nice wake up call! I'll be watching them more closely from now on. (I just watched them performing live and, boy, I'm in love!)
I’m living for these girl groups stepping outside of the box lately. I loved the bubblegum pop when I was a kid and I still love some songs, but I want to see more range from these female idols.
Pixy is really becoming my favorite group. With each song they release and their tracks. I love their songs, concept, and they are growing on me. Can't wait for them to get a win someday because they deserve one.
I think Addicted and loona PTT are my favorite “intense” song girl group comebacks of the year. The dance is so strong, the mv looks amazing. Both so impressive
You mentioned that you wanted to check out their performances for this track, and I'm right there with you. If you have the time you should also check out their performances for their previous songs. They've had the same group doing their choreo for each song so far (MOTF), and every single one of them is insane. They also are a really good live performance group, they're well worth the watch. Overall this generation of groups are insanely talents but I think I'm rooting for Pixy the most just because like you said they're not from as established a position (either from company or producer or etc) and yet they're making some amazing music and keeping at it.
I think pixy is going with we are a kpop group instead of we are a kpop girl group. I am not sure if you checked out the moon by pixy. It was a performance video. So far Pixy is batting a thousand. I can't wait to see what else they put out for us with this comeback.
So happy you reacted to this comeback as well! I hope your videos are helping them to gain a bigger audience, they deserve it. They are so, so good with their art direction and sound, I'm living for hard-hitting instrumentals and good rap portions, and they are serving pure GOLD. Their vocals are heavenly, and the choreography is amazing again. MOTF has been working on their choreographies, they also choreographed a lot for Stray Kids, and I love what they have been doing to these songs. They know what they are doing, and I hope they get the recognition for their amazing work.
This is such an amazing reaction/review... I really like this group, the company behind it, and hope they really get the recognition they deserve. It feels so refreshing to see renowned reactors pay attention to rookie groups, especially when they come from lesser-known companies. Thank you for reacting to their comeback!
i think PIXY has quite different sounds compare to other Kpop girl group songs. And it's absolutely amazing! Bewitched, Moonlight is good too. i had no idea about PIXY till your reaction. Thank you PD :)
These videos are the reason you're the best. You're knowledgeable, insightful, and supportive of the musicians and performers. Your love for PIXY is the cherry on top :D

During their journey, they took a rest.
World view 3:
Dia awakens, at the bottom of the cliff, alone.
Wow that is deep, so deep. Satbyeol is so creative for coming up with this.
one thing i've noticed about pixy's music videos is that they ALWAYS enhance and accent the parts where the music hits harder and it just makes the song that much more impactful. it's honestly so great to see such quality work from a small company group
seriously, if anyone watching likes the work pixy and the teams behind them are doing and you're able to, I'd really recommend buying their albums and telling people about them. they consistently haven't been selling that well (like in the realm of 500-1k), so they're not in the best position right now. they're great performers and their discography just gets better and better.
I'd love to help support them, I think they definitely need it. Unfortunately I don't think I'm game to buy actual CDs, so I was wondering if there was a particular go-to site/resource to buy K-pop digitally?
100% agree. We need to buy their albums.
I did download the album on Amazon for $9, hope that helps in some way
@@lon242 It will for sure!
I don't know much about Ateez cus I don't follow boy groups but everyone is saying "Ateez is the boy version of Dreamcatcher" so I can clearly say Pixy, Ateez and Dreamcatcher is kinda similar and I love this (I'm gonna check out Ateez too)
Same, Ateez are my favorites, and I get the same vibes with Pixy, i really love it!
@@flyingcucumber9325 ateez and dreamcatcher share some of the same songwriters to
Ollfander and Leez work with both
@@flyingcucumber9325 that's funny because my current favorite groups are dreamcatcher, ateez and pixy lol i guess i have a type
@@keypratt9595 Wow nice I'll definitely check out
PIXY are just such a great group, they never disappoint, I wish they grow and get more recognition for their hard work
Honestly Wings was already insane and I couldn't believe they had Let me know as their 1st comeback. Like HOW??? And this just confirmed it for me, ROTY. No questions asked *at all* they're wild man
PIXY truly is the most underrated rookie group of the year! They are too good to be this unknown! I hope they blow up soon!!
Honestly, Pixy are insane. Their level of quality and intensity is off the charts and I put them in a class of their own.
pixy is the group that gives me same feeling as ateez does when i watch their performances. idk how else to explain how much i like this group
Yes, I have the same feeling
SAME!!
Yea, the let me know mv was unnecessarily expensive
@@Kingnaruto16fan oh really, well that kinda relieved me a little. They really know how to save money huh
well in this comeback we got 1k copies sold in just 6 days, thats a lot of improovement!! i really loved this mini album
@@Panicakes That's great to hear. What website do you check to view these sales?
Y'ALL KNOW A SONG/MV IS A BOP WHEN HIS REACTION VID SURPASSED 30 MINUTES✨✨✨✨
the music producers are the teacher who handed out the assignment, and the, members, video/editing team, choreographers, and stylists are all the students, which makes this a perfect example of "they understood the assignment", they ALL thoroughly understood.
This company KNOWS how to make art. Literally I'm constantly blown away by their artistic direction.
Satbyeol's low tone really reminded me of Lee Youngji's sound. And that's a good thing.
Something about her tone really reminded me of Moonbyul
Satbyeol's tone and rapping style remind me a lot of Dreamcatcher's Dami, but I can hear some of Youngji's influence now that you mention it :0
This is seriously theyre best comeback.
23:13 i love that i can hear the harmonizing vocals/hidden vocals here, its so beautifully accompanying dia's vocals
This comeback made me fall in love with Pixy so much 😭😭
What kills me is how insanely underrated this group is like wtf
They have all they need to become one of the greatest girl groups in Kpop history, well, they're only lacking more recognition and following, but that will definitely change over time ^^
My favorite track from them continues on being Wings (debut song), but Addicted comes second... man ALL of their songs so far have been incredibly good :D
The way this song is actually a finale for their 'season 1' lore, like, its so fitting with such an epic closure
They're also growing like DC
1000% agree with everything you said from “Wings” to this MIND BLOWN. Best song/choreography for me this year. I’m praying this song Pixy gets more attention, they deserve it. I can’t wait to see them on a bigger stage performing “Addicted” bc I’m addicted to this comeback.
I’m so addicted to this song now like I keep listening to it over and over again after watching this
the producer of this song did AMAZING. Man. the team for pixy is really working hard. This song is PERFECT in terms of tecnic (dance, song...voices...) pixy is really good
this group stands out so much, they're really cool
It seems like PIXY are being managed similarly to a boy group as you don’t usually see this type of mv, song and choreography from girl groups. Which is so fun and exciting to see happen now :D
imo this feels a lot like Stayc’s comeback where the 3rd song sounds like a mash of the first two, and i LOVE that for both groups
They even included their famous bside "the moon's" gun loading sound
I'm addicted to this song. Actually I felt the influence from VIXX, but, now with a more unique style and I think PIXY is finally knowing what their sound is.
you should dive deeper into their storyline! it’s really interesting and they incorporate it into the music videos really well - you can notice it but it’s not in your face & distracting
They dont really get invested in the storylines of groups bc of the type of channel they are
can you share with me a link of the storyline? where can i read it / watch it

@@lola-ip1cq thank you!
Honestly, I didn’t enjoy their previous tracks too much. But this comeback is a bop. The whole album is, in fact.
I stan! 🧚♀️✨
They remind me of DC so much, a small group from a small company giving quality concept and content with insane choreo and vocals.
PD you know how hard i'm crying ? xD i'm so happy what you've said about them. Thank you !
EDIT after completed watching PD's reactions:
YESS.
I love theses girls , shes so wonderfol, amazing, georgeous, the concept is perfect for this group. PIXY FOREVER
I am so obsessed with them and can’t wait to see what else they do
im so proud of them, the song is incredible
Haven't even started the video yet and I already know PD is gonna feast on the visual elements of this one. PIXY is awesome!
Thank you for covering this and breaking it's greatness down
YES PLEASE DO REACT TO THEIR LIVE STAGE FOR THIS SONG!!!! ITS AMAZING!!!!
i've been waiting for this!!! the mv is just a freaking MASTERPIECE 🔥🔥🔥 the budget for this mv LOL
23:07 rare to see a female rapper include vocals in the middle of their rap. she full on screamed there. that's beautiful
Hold on, is this a movie?. This is the best mv i've seen this year. Gonna check pixy later
Yes, Pixy is a SUPER group, they have ALL; vocal, rap, dance, visual, THE TALENT IS'NT A JOKE. I can't stop support them
Damn, everything about Pixy is so delightful. Their music is gorgeous, their concept is driving me crazy, their choreography is top notch, rap line is absolutely the best among girl groups... They are so crazy good! Please provide them with support!
I literally said WOW like 10 times during my first watch. We need more MV's like this 🙌
ROTY for me! They are stunning, their songs are amazing and their dancing, their choreo and their performance is 100% on point and sooooo well done.
PD make sure you give Bewitched a listen! It's a MASTERPIECE. One of the best songs this year imo!
I think Addicted and loona PTT are my favorite “intense” song girl group comebacks of the year. The dance is so strong, the mv looks amazing. Both so impressive
PIXY is crushing it and I am crushing on them
I’ve been impressed with PIXY since day one and this comeback is SO GOOD. I really loved your reaction
Man this comeback blew my expectations! I didn’t vibe with their first 2 songs but this mv and song are a 10/10!
I think pixy is going with we are a kpop group instead of we are a kpop girl group. I am not sure if you checked out the moon by pixy. It was a performance video. So far Pixy is batting a thousand. I can't wait to see what else they put out for us with this comeback.
They never disappoint
I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR REACTION!
Best MV of 2021 for me! PIXY is insaneeee
Thank you for reacting to their comeback!
this is way too good, they really need to be massively recognized soon
Oooohh 😭😭 they are really one of the rookie idol I look forward to. I love their concept. Thank youuu
i think PIXY has quite different sounds compare to other Kpop girl group songs. And it's absolutely amazing! Bewitched, Moonlight is good too. i had no idea about PIXY till your reaction. Thank you PD :)
The storyline it’s basically saying that Dajeong it’s the real villain
These videos are the reason you're the best. You're knowledgeable, insightful, and supportive of the musicians and performers. Your love for PIXY is the cherry on top :D
Also yeah, this choreo is pretty much a boy group choreo and it's incredibly cool regardless, they are doing it at such a level I'm amazed more coveted groups are not.
im so so happy this video exists actually!! PIXY are phenomenal and deserve so much more attention than what they get. this mv was just SO IMPRESSIVE and the production of the song made so much sense!! and the choreo was what stood out the most to me probably bc im a dancer but just so good! i really believe they could be big if people gave them a little more attention
Super proud of Pixy! They've just been getting better and better each comeback! Really liked hearing your thoughts/reactions :D
This guy make me like kpop more than I like already. I love these videos 🔥
