Same, that one part in the infinite jump portion where you go between the spikes is so genuinely awful and luck based I quit after an hour of attempts and only getting it once
I would really like to beat it but I just... idk, everything feels hopeless. I've been practicing, I've been trying, I still can't beat the first checkpoint. Is it even possible to do some micro-adjustments? Because that would help a lot and it doesn't seem possible for me, I always slide a lot. I can also see that you turn before landing, might try that tomorrow. It's just the fact that my "uncompleted" list for platformers is just this one level and it pains me to not be able to beat it.
This is a very raw platforming experience and we're all still very much getting used to the physics There's lots of room to improve so don't worry about it, you got it
There's a practice version, also you can use practice mode if you have a controller plugged in Being able to do micro taps helped a lot and pressing the opposite direction to not slide
@@vv01dyjust because the community voted for it to be an Extreme Demon doesn't mean that it's objectively an Extreme Demon. I remember one time when there was a Weekly Demon with Insane Demon rating, when in reality it was an Easy one, the community had decided its difficulty wrongly. Also platformer mode is still brand new so there's still a lot to explore, it's not safe to call everything slightly challenging an Extreme Demon yet, back in 2.1 those were usually ridiculously hard and required tons of efforts put in, which isn't the case so far with these Extreme Platformer Demons it seems (I've beaten IWBTG in 4 hours while my hardest is Acu, a very low end Extreme)
I beat IWBTG in 1 hour, yet id still say its an extreme, and idk how he can say that he personally thinks that IWBTG is harder, rooms 2, 3, and 4 are objectively free, the tower, introduces gimmicks with the robot and multiple ledge spike timings@@イエスサーBR, also, acu or cata is also my hardest, but what im getting at is, there is no jump that can be crowned as harder than a ledge spike jump, let alone how a single jump with a robot can input 2 needed timings, a hold and release, similar to wave but robots hold and release times are a lot more unpredictable and very close together
I bet someone will make a Getting Over It level where there won't be any single checkpoints. If you fall, you start over.
I'm working on it sir
@@Gooey Take your time, I still need to beat this level. Torture me after that lmao
@@Gooey Update - I've finally beaten it. You're good to go.
@@MrNexis3 I've decided to take my level in a direction direction, it'll take very long before its out
this level is the only platformer as of now that i will never beat due to how bad it is

Nice job! Judging by some of the things you said, it doesn't sound like you were having that much fun.
Absolutely not
@@Gooey Well, congratulations anyway.
@@alextheamazer thanks!
This is def an extreme, you are just an outlier
It was rated insane Demon for a while then it got extreme demon
There is no way you don't hate yourself playing this
This level was decent until I exited out of it twice
Bruh you have the fastest completion even tho you didn't reset the timer at the start
I practiced the level in the practice copy the creator put out beforehand

wtf people are already beating this GG on the hardest level done in gd history
I'll make something actually difficult soon

@@_maxmur you aint ready

Its not the hardest level ever in gd, it only is in platformer mode

Wdym hard demon
if a new player started today I would bet they'd beat this before nine circles, so probably hard demon is still overrating it
