Let’s Talk About Goal Planners- MakseLife, Powersheets, HB90

Today I want to give you my thoughts on these planners that I’ve purchased over the last few years. MakseLife, Cultivate What Matters Powersheets, and the HB90 Method by Sarra Cannon at Heart Breathings are 3 goals planners that I chose to assist me on my goal planning journey.

OMG! You are spot on with the Makse Life planner. I tried it this year but didn’t make it 6 months. I think it’s just a lot especially when you have 2 to 3 goals to focus on. I liked the power sheets as well because it wasn’t so structured. I think if power sheets had a digital version I would give it another try. I liked them both but something didn’t click. For 2025, I’ll be using the Makse life digital notebook. I think all I need is a notebook.

I enjoyed this video a lot! I am waiting to see the new Makselife planner, but agree with your feelings about that page making me feel bad about not working hard on every area of my life. I also think having my goals in a small notebook would make it more likely something I would look at each day.

I totally agree and love a good notebook! MakseLife has some really good accessories that they’re launching and this week they’ll be showing everything off.

Oh wow, you're not alone! I'm very much the same in many ways! I was saying, "yep, yep, yep" throughout, 😊. I am very influenced visually and will not use something if it's over stimulating.
I just LOVED your free form goal page that you wrote out! I'm going to adapt a similar strategy. One idea - maybe you could use some $ toward some decorative things to make your hand written journal more attractive and perhaps you'd use it more? Or
if you do cave in 😉 I suggest buy the Power Sheets. I think you'd like it better than Makse.

I just discovered your channel and wanted to say I really love your videos! I relate a lot to your comments on how different planner details like the color have an impact on our experience of it. A lot of times, we set different things aside without really reflecting on what was the friction that resulted in it, and I love that you share your thought process. I’m excited to see what you end up going with for 2025. 😊

I’m using Sterling Ink’s B5 planner and I was just thinking about using her goal planning spread. So I’m going to try that as well. Look forward to seeing how your notebook work out for you.

I thought about using the A5 Sterling Ink for goals but I’m just not sure. I’ve seen a lot of people who ordered the B5 so I’m sure there will be a lot of inspiration coming soon.
