Its perfectly normal to be scared. There's no reason to surf a wave that u dont enjoy. Thats the realization i had in big surf. If your super fit and feal ready then go!!

Thanks for tuning in, I completely agree. I personally enjoy it! However, every big wave spot I go to, I like to feel it out for the first time. I like to study how the wave works, line ups and the local factor especially if there's towing involved.
At Mavericks there is a pecking order and the vibe can be a bit tense cause of the crowds. I appreciate you and hope you're scoring waves somewhere. 🫡🤙🏾
