If I were you I would take pic of your splitter and post it in the Firewood Sellers group and explain what’s going on with it, someone will know. Maybe post the link to this video in the comments. Sycamore is up there with the toughest elm to split. I avoid or boiler wood it.
This sycamore is splitting easy for some reason not sure y. But in the next video the tree service actually dropped off a good load of maple and I go into further detail about the issues. They weren't playing any games today. Lol
Engine is not holding 3,600rpms its dropping off as the video goes on. But i remember another video with throttle lever issues. So that explains that part of the problem. . Its gotta be control valve. Definitely the control valve is not working right. Ether not adjusted right, or the spring could be broken. . Only other thing that would increase drag cinda like that is, hydraulic oil thats 15w or 20w Or an incorrect filter, could create tons of additional load. . The recommended hydraulic oil is almost always a 10w oil. Or automatic transmission fluid. its considered an alternative for severe temps. The synthetic atf, helps a in extreme cold. . But considering your in summer sun with a high of probably 80F-ish I dont see thick oil being your real problem. . Valve is far far more likely.
@@outdoorswithandy732 Sometimes you can pull em apart and find a bad o-ring ect, and replace that. but not allways. There a very simple device, but ive seen just a few strans of hair mess one up. . Remember it's a 25gpm system, best I remember the tags at the stores say. so you need a replacement that's at least rated for that. 0.01c
