TAD-leafy incline (music video) 1839pm 11.8.23 that's cool... no idea what kindda musician my teachers would have chosen for the lesson in musical history... but let's face it, it wouldn't have been a rock act...
TAD are true pioneers of the grunge scene. Hard to believe what's on heavy rotation these days on the average "rock radio". Mudhoney, the Melvins, & Dinosaur Jr and only a handful of others are all that's left.
@@JaefarSABNW Melvins are bad and Buzz plays the whole "Idc we were the best we should have been popular but fuck the mainstream." Dude is so salty over his lack of intelligible music.
he was my friend back then and we worked together. his name is steve weid. he had a seriously mental breakdown and quite music and work and went into a hospital back in late 99 early 2000...and he was a great pounding drummer. he also played for the Accused. another local seattle punk thrash band. the Accused "grinning like an undertaker" check that out
This isn't the best vocals in grunge but i feel like this band represents the genre better than the mainstream grunge bands of the 90s. I love the raw rugged song. Like the sludge of Alice in chains mixed with the emotion of Nirvana with a Pearl Jam like tempo. Super gritty.
I am still trying to find the song by TAD with the lyrics: "try it out, maybe it's dry now, try it out, maybe it's dry now. Bong hits! bong hits!" Can't remember the name of the song (gee, I wonder why). Does anyone know the name of the song, album it's from, and a youtube link to listen to this great song?
I wish they would've made more non-heavy songs like Gouge and Leafy Incline. Instantly fell in love with Gouge and I'm sad they don't have any other song in that style.
Just bought this album at Vintage Stock I had never listened to a complete song i was extremely impressed why does Nirvana get all this damn press just cos Kurt didn't get to rehab and stay put damn....
you're welcome rbng, yea i know this video wasent on youtube before i put it on, which i was kind of suprised about cause this is such a badass video,so i just ended up uploading the video myself on youtube. :)
I love that music when I was 19 year old In December 23 1993 name tad band Until breakup 1999 very sad we miss that Band. Music in 1993 before. 1999 the band tad was founded. In 1988 was. Very super grunge my girlfriend knew this music we are 90s we are age 19 with Richard is. 18 because we're are late teen Being act grunge in the 90s
yes thats true but mainly underground, (of course) but even the mainstream music back then was actually good underground or not,but mainstream now is too repetitive.
i guess so, but its swings and roundabouts, the mainstream before nirvana broke out was in a pretty sorry state, in a few years it will go full circle again im sure and a few great bands will break out! tho iv always been more of an underground typre antway, Melvins, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, TAD, now you have the likes of Lightning Bolt, Shellac, Melt Banana, isis and that. the best music is usually untouched by the mainstream
What sucks is if Tad was a skinny guy, mainstream music (MTV) would of hailed this band as "the next nirvana". I love Tad. Pioneers!
Wait is that why they weren’t mainstream???
@@mango7736 yeah, kinda hard to market a very overweight guy to teens.
@@HerRevengeOnSeattle Different era
This song is so damn good. It should have been a hit. That chorus is unforgettable - "I've gotta know...that I'm not alone..." Heavy and heartfelt.
Bobby Garland damn right
Its pretty fucking good
This band is pretty kick ass.
Really catchy
Bobby Garland I’m just ashamed that I only recently discovered it.
Tad is so fucking awesome, he fucking came to my North west rock history class today! also got a signed T-shit from him!

One of the best undervalued band ever
Amen, well said
Been listening to this album non stop for the last week or so. I just can't get enough of it.
TAD is rad.
Inhaler!
Amen.
Great band. They should have been part of the big 5. Too bad body-shaming probably held this band back from MTV exposure. This music is brilliant.
Grease Box got my attention, Leafy Incline locked me in..
TAD fan forever!
Kurt Danielson is a Bass playing GOD, everyone in Seattle ripped these guys off, without Tad no Nirvana...
Not really, but the Melvins was an influence.
@@JaefarSABNW Melvins are bad and Buzz plays the whole "Idc we were the best we should have been popular but fuck the mainstream."

Still stuck in primordial ooze of the 90s.

Metal side of grunge band for Metalhead
Great songs, great sound, great and extra large band, they are the forgotten heroes of the Seattle scene.
The way they blend heavy with melody is crazy.
What a band they were.

Steve was the original drummer. This drummer is Josh Sinder if I'm not mistaken. Both great drummers
Awesome band and I've seen them live and I fucking love Josh Sinder on drums.

PJ are not grunge really, they are some sort of fashion attached to the genre.
What a band .FORCE OF NATURE !!!
He's still alive, believe it or not.
Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, BOTSC
why? why ? why this Super loud band stopped they'r career??
Tad and mudhoney are the only grunge legends for me.
Tad are super Heavy 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Brothers of the Sonic Cloth is Tad's most recent band

Try the 8-Way Santa album. That’s 50/50 heavy/non-heavy. Great record.
Also, the song Ulcer is fucking beautiful!
There's one particular non heavy song from 8 Way Santa that is outstanding.! I forget the name of it but its great

Being act grunge in the 90s
fuckin great - i play this song with my band now!
this is amazing….
+b sher earth, tad, pist.on, laughing hyenas, so many bands that SHOULD have been huge.
+b sher Well, Tad was already huge, but awesome
***** i wouldn't say huge, in comparison to some of their peers.
True.
anyone else notice that the song in this video and the song off the album sound a little different?
there are great bands out there still, just get off your ass and find em!!!
Meatloaf's grunge side project in the 80s and 90s.
This is almost certainly a different recording than the version on "Inhaler". Anybody know why?
@MrRobcubs lol i know right? well there are some good bands still out there (non i found on mainstream though) but 80's/90's was my most favorite.
Sounds like if voivod were a grunge band
at this time it wasn't leafs tad was eating
thank you gwarvana!!!
Ditto
Just one soul!
Maybe there should be a TL;DR in the description.....
The guitar with a bad wire hahah fuckin nice
yes thats true but mainly underground, (of course) but even the mainstream music back then was actually good underground or not,but mainstream now is too repetitive.
Found this band and vid years ago. Always loved it, but i want the lyrics. Do you know them ?

ya i have it but i don't really know how i can give it to you?
This sounds to Nirvana please dont tell me kurt copy this guys?
Maybe some influence, they toured Europe together before Nirvana broke out mainstream.
and you typed that 3 years ago... now music is just a wasteland of electronic BULLSHIT. but Tad will stay in my brain till it rots away.
I’ve gotta know
Love love love that part, and the slow cabbage part.
Very sweet moments of a completely right on badass tune thanx boys
Stone cabbage grows in bunches a fungus when it (spose/grows) :/?
ya its kool dude just send me you're E-MAIL address and i will send the Mp3 attachment of the video version of leafy incline to you!
and could someone post lyrics
youre welcome. :)
you're welcome!!! :)
Black Keys are pretty fucking good, man, and I would consider V2 to be a pretty major label, considering that they are owned by Universal.
They just don't make 'em like they used to (assumes old hillbilly hick's voice)
But seriously though....
This has got to be the most ridiculously long and irrelevant descriptions i've seen.
Anyone else is here because it says "leafy"? :v
ya pretty much nobody except your loser ass
Leafy as in.... leafyishere? You Pathetic little she-hulk.
+Canal do Sábio M1ster1oso Nah. We're here cuz this song rules.
