Each of those motors has multiple dollars worth of bearings, magnets and other parts that are WAY more than selling them as scrap. In about 5 minutes you can multiply their value by taking them apart and selling them on ebay. Even the cat cable you come across could be cut into 20ft lengths, crimped and sold for $5 each. It takes 30 seconds to crimp some cat5. Fun fact a lot of what you buy on ebay, aliexpress and all those sites comes from that.
I'm with you on the lead prices. All the spot prices I'm seein' are higher than $0.33/lb. But, hey. It is what it is. What are your choices, really? Separate out the lead and find a better price and make a run just for that?
Mike you should post the lead for sale local or online since you can do a flat rate priority box. It brings $1 per pound selling to reloaders & casters like my self & husband. 😊
