Being born a Muslim you just take Islam for granted. You don't think about when was the first time you prayed or fasted; it is just part of your routine. You don't think about how difficult it can be for non Arabs to practice Islam. Listening to your story made appreciate what I was born with and how life changing this experience for converts. I was moved by your story and you tell it in the most captivating way, specially the Shahada part ❤️. My point is that some Islamic practices such as prayer and reciting the Quran requires knowing Arabic to understand what they mean.
I know there are interpretations for those who don't speak Arabic but it's easier for those who speak it.

I am a 24 year old Pakistani, a Muslim majority country, a Muslim by birth. My family is very appreciative of practising Islam, and I still don't do hijab or stopped listening to music. I'm literally crying so hard while seeing this video. You guys go through a lot and still keep hold of your Imaan. I am very emotional at this moment. How can the majority of Muslims claim it is a peaceful religion? Because… most have not read the Quran, or the “Hadiths” that expound on the verses in the Quran and the life of the prophet Mohammed. The culture of Eastern Muslims is to rely on and believe what those in authority say. And most of the leaders, or Imams, proclaim an innocent and tolerant version of the Quran and Mohammed. Obedience is a sacred trait of the Muslim faith. The word Islam means “to surrender.”
There are peaceful chapters or “Surahs” in the Quran. They were “revealed” to Mohammed in a cave called Hira near Mecca in 610 A.D. Mohammed’s god, Allah, wanted to correct the Jewish Old Testament and the Christian’s New Testament (with Jesus as part of a Triune God.) His gentle and tolerant Meccan revelations were intended to bridge the gap between Jews and Christians, winning both over to Allah’s “correction.” It didn’t work.
Mohammed was run out of town. He went to Medina. It was in Medina where the rest of the Quran was revealed to him by Allah. And there was a marked change. The Surahs became violent. And Mohammed became violent. He beheaded Jews. He fought wars. He raided and killed. He took “booty” in his victories. And the booty included human captives. Women. Unspeakable acts were allowed that I will not include here. You can read them for yourself… Surah 4:24, 23:5, 70:29.
This sexual injustice is reprehensible, but Allah wills it.
All of this was commanded by his Allah in the Medina Surahs. And those chapters in the Quran still apply today. It is not “radical” Islam. It is just Islam.
The hostile Medina Quran calls for Muslims to kill anyone who leaves the Islamic faith. Also, Medina Surah 9:5 command Muslims to “kill the infidels (non-Muslims) wherever you find them and take them as captives and besiege them and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush so if they repent (and become Muslim) and perform prayer, leave their way free.” Convert or die, and many other violent commands.
Allah also revealed to Mohammed…. If one is quoting from an early Meccan Surah and there is a contradicting Surah given later in Medina, the Meccan quote is no longer valid. It is called the Doctrine of Abrogation. This abrogation applies to 60% of the Quran. The early peaceful Surahs of Mecca no longer apply, but they are still in the Quran! And the Quran is not written in chronological order, so the reader can’t say which Surah is applicable. So peace-loving Muslims can claim Islam to be peaceful! And Medina Muslim followers can justify violence and killing! All in the name of Allah.
The unpleasant truth is that the Quran teaches faithful Muslims to be at war with non-Muslims until they are all subdued. That is one wacky religion.

He accepts non muslim’s questions and answers them in his lectures so you can listen to recorded ones if you really want to know islam.
Coming to Islam as a religion of peace.. Salam in arabic means peace and Islam is drived from the same word so It literally means peace and surrendering our will to Allah swt.
Coming to 4:24 and how meccan quran is different from Medina’s. See initially, all muslims came from pegan background. Allah didnt want to burden them which He quoted in Quran ALLAH DOES NOT BURDENS A SOUL MORE THAN IT CAN BEAR.
So as our teachers take baby steps to make us understand things, same was Allah’s approach. Initially even wine was allowed in Quran but later as muslim got hold of their senses in terms of deen e islam, Allah prohibited it completely. Same for the ayah you mentioned. Pegan arabs had no culture whatsoever. They burried their daughters ALIVE, gave them no share in property, considered then but a burden and an object.
Allah started from the ayah you quoted and then he ended at MUSLIMS ONLY MARRYING ONE WOMAN COZ THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH RESPONSIBILITY AND NO FEMALE SERVANTS WERE HALAL TO THEM. 4 wives are allowed only to prevent illegal sexual intercourse but not an obligation. Hindus who talk about it the most, their lords had 54 wives and nobody talks about it.
As human intelligence and grasp of their deen gained strength, Allah guided them to the actual points which He prepared them for before.
Coming to the killing of infidels.
I am amazed how every non muslim is only talking about this and nothing else. Do you know whats the background? I will tell you.
These are ayahs from surah tawbah. Which is the harshest surah in quran starting without Allah’s name because He is merciful.
Okay so when prophet Muhammad SAW and his followers accepted Islam publicly, do you what pegans did? They evicted them. Slaughtered them. Confiscated their lands and everything they owned, threw stones at the Prophet of Peace and good news. Muslims did not say anything and only protected themselves.

Later, when Muslims gained strength, they wanted to do hajj (the holy pilgrimage of Kaaba) but the mushrikeen (pegans, non believers) sent them back and did not allow them. So muslims and pegans of Mecca cane to an agreement of 3 day hajj and 10 years of peace (no direct or indirect war). Later that year, pegans attacked Muslim missionaries and that when Allah ordered Muslims to retaliate. Is this not the right way? When one person stays loyal to the commitment and other cheats on a state level? It is still such a big thing. Besides, when muslims went to conquer Mecce, they were ordered not to cut any tree or hurt children, woman or elderly or anyone who is in their homes and not coming to fight. Allah ordered muslims to fight only those who fight them. You can read Quran with context and youll get it.
And if Islam or Prophet Muhammad was barbaric, how come he is, even after 1400 years, the most influential person of the world? Why not its hitler if barbarism decided influence? Muslims ruled India for then 1000 years and it is still a hindu majority country. Hence proved.
Muslims are not perfect, study the direct source which is Quran and Sunnah if you want to study Islam. JazakAllah ul khair.

Dont bother your self dude. Even The messenger Mohammed PBUH lost his closest family members and closet companions when he invited them to Islam like some of his uncles and his daughters husbands and many more. This is the case between believers and disbelievers all times. If you read all messengers stories from Adam to Mohammed PBUH you will find it copied in sense of all their closest people abused them , said they are insane and wizards and even tried to harm and kill them. Similarly nowadays they call practicing Muslims a terrorists. But on Judgement day they will regret and wish they havent done all this things and ask God for another chance but this will never happen. That day we will laugh and they will cry FOREVER.

I am a Belgian with Moroccan roots and raised by Muslim parents. I have been living for more than one year in Prague now. It struck me indeed when I arrived to see how strongly atheist people are here. The churches are empty most of the time unless their filled with tourists.... I have kinda a similar story to yours :))💚 I live in Hungary and I was raised Christian, I were studying it at school, I was going to church every Sunday with my granny like every other child but I never thought of it seriously I had many many questions and there was so many kinds of translations to the bible and every priest said it somewhat differently and I was confused as well because none of it made sense to me personally even though my father is a Bible teacher I still was not satisfied with his answers, on the other hand my mother is Hindu and I get to experience it first hand and even though it made somewhat more sense to me than Christianity I was confused cause it was not clear to me why it that they have so many Gods and why they worship statues like for me that was just not working I could never belive more than one God and worship statues, that's when I started learning about Islam, I was watching a lot of Muslim youtubers and I got answers to everything I was confused about and it just make sense to me so I started reading books, watching films about Islam and I was really enjoying it, a year later we went to Egypt and it was so beautiful it was just fascinating to me, and when I saw people praying and women wearing modest clothing with the hijab and niqab, that's really got me so when we got back I started learning Arabic, and I read the Hungarian translation for the Quran and it was beautiful, I actually started wearing modest clothing (even the hijab), this started when I was 15, currently I am 17 and on my way of converting to Islam, first I was afraid that people will call me terrorist but now I don't care about comments like this anymore, I'm happy that I am Muslim Alhamdulillah :)))

Albert Stier why did you send me this ?? 😅 When I said I had problems with my faith, I meant I had doubts in the existence of God because of the theory of evolution and others.
But now I know all of this is bullshit. But from the start I knew that if there were any God, then the religion he wants us to follow is Islam. You want me to look down at a falsified religion ? Jesus didn’t ever tell you to worship him, for he was a messenger just like Mohamed, Moses and many others. The true right path is Islam, and I believe in God, I believe Mohamed and Jesus are His slaves and messengers. The error is meant to disappear, and one day the Truth will be undeniable to everyone.
Concerning the stuff said about Mohamed peace be upon him in one on these videos you sent me... I know enough about our prophet to know how he was incredibly merciful and loving. And I know some people take events out of context and say them in a way that make people hate our religion. Just know that all of this didn’t even shake my faith in Allah and his messenger.

9:56 this is precisely what I feel right now as a Christian since baptised around birth. I was told some bible stories in school but family and friends and just life in general located in the British south west countryside did not encourage the study of practice of our Christian religion or even to go to church, which I have never done outside of attending weddings, funerals and back in my school choir days. I feel lost, like my life purpose is yet to become clear. But I know one thing, I have never felt a sense of belonging to the Christian religion. And there is something important drawing me closer to looking at Islam and wanting to read the Quran.

You will not enter Paradise until you believe and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I show you something that, if you did, you would love each other? Spread peace between yourselves.

In another narration, the Prophet said:
وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُسْلِمُوا وَلا تُسْلِمُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا وَأَفْشُوا السَّلامَ تَحَابُّوا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْبُغْضَةَ فَإِنَّهَا هِيَ الْحَالِقَةُ لا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ تَحْلِقُ الشَّعْرَ وَلَكِنْ تَحْلِقُ الدِّينَ
By the one in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you submit, and you will not submit until you love one another. Greet each other with peace and you will love one another. Beware of hatred, for it is the razor. I do not say it shaves hair, but rather it shaves away the religion.

And in another narration, the Prophet said:
وَأَحِبَّ لِلنَّاسِ مَا تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِكَ تَكُنْ مُؤْمِنًا وَأَحْسِنْ جِوَارَ مَنْ جَاوَرَكَ تَكُنْ مُسْلِمًا
Love for the people what you love for yourself and you will be a believer. Behave well with your neighbors and you will be a Muslim.

And in another narration, the Prophet said:
وَأَحْسِنْ إِلَى جَارِكَ تَكُنْ مُؤْمِنًا وَأَحِبَّ لِلنَّاسِ مَا تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِكَ تَكُنْ مُسْلِمًا
Be kind to your neighbor and you will be a believer. Love for the people what you love for yourself and you will be a Muslim.

The Quran is the best, it’s important to find a one with exegesis
My favorite Surahs these days (I love all of the Quran) are Ibrahim, Al-Ankaboot (the Spider), Al-Rum (the Romans), Al-Nahl (the Bees), and Al-Hajar (the Stones)
Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves (13:11)
I want to tell you something that’ll happen when you go to the One who created you, He says:
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Qul ya AAibadiya allatheena asrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi inna Allaha yaghfiru alththunooba jameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu

This is insane that is literally me! The whole story the convincing yourself and the labeling and everything I’m glad I’m not the only one 🙈 I’ve been confused for so long!
Really, thanks to Allah that I am not the one as well. I was also revert from Christian and now alhamdulillah I am wearing the hijab as well, because the hijab is a big deal for me and my family so when my family don't care me and my husband so I realize why you care everyone except your husband and ur Islam so I change myself and free from everything and now I only care my Muslim community and my real family and I love it. Whatever I did I am proud of it.

What a beautiful story! My mom is a convert ans has been for over 20 years now so I really enjoy and, weirdly, relate to other convert journeys to Islam. I have such a strong respect for converts because they had the courage to question their way of life and I'm not sure I would have done that if I hadn't been born in a muslim household. I always love watching videos of converted muslims because they remind me why I "chose" Islam! Thank you for sharing your story so beautifully, (and I love your personnality! Muslims really fascinate me. I’ve been into it for a couple of days because of my friend who’s in Algeria. And I got so interested, tho my Seventh-day Adventist (Christian) and Muslims have similarities. But it’s different, they’re so devoted and it makes me wanna convert into Muslim. They’re sometimes about it that draws me into it. I dunno, it felt weird, but it felt so good.
Sister, read the Quran. We have love and respect for Prophet Jesus and one chapter in the Quran deals with mother Mary. A pious and devout woman, who according to Islam was a Muslim. Muslim = Submission of your will to the One, the Creator of the Universe, who has no partners. He has no beginning and no end, and he has no son. Creation can't be equal to Creator. All prophets were Muslims and they all worshipped one God and were monotheists. May Allah guide you to Islam. Liste always to your heart

Sister I am so proud of you, I’m a revert from Germany alhamdulillah 😍 the whole part about prayer I can relate so much I literally started praying with a book open next to me and thought I’d never be able to remember. And I also remembered al Fatiha before I converted and tried to deny it for a while. Like I was praying , fasting and still didn’t say I am Muslim .. alhamdulillah I am more confident now and it’s been the best decision in my life

I’m not even going to lie omg I’m so shocked right now I got chills all over when you said your friend who passed away had cystic fibrosis I was so surprised because I have cystic fibrosis and I have been researching Islam because I want to convert when I’m older and I have been very confused on the religion that everyone I know around me practices Christianity it has been very confusing to me trying to understand the Bible and when I heard about Islam it hit me that there are different religions and when I started researching and watching TH-cam videos I was like wow this religion seems to be more and more understanding to me vs the confusion of Christianity however I was still not convinced that I could actually convert when I’m older until I found you and you said your friend had cystic fibrosis (cf) because I know that the life span of someone who has cf is short and I want to find the right religion for me before I die and I think it’s Islam but I’m only 14 and even if I convert when I’m older I live in a small town and I don’t know anyone who practices Islam I only know people who practice Christianity but I know I won’t be alone even if I don’t personally know someone who practices Islam :) ❤️

We must make the difference between Islam and Muslims Islam is perfect The human is not the day you supreme you extend your actions and said only you are free to believe what you want but it is our duty as much as Muslims have spoken to you about lislam without obliging you to follow it (no constraint in religion! I was born muslim but being born and raised here in Australia made it so it was never something I focused on, mainly it was just something where my mum would tell my sister and I bed time stories which were about the stories of the prophets. But growing up I was more intrigued and I began to fast but I never really had a strong feeling when I would fast but as I watched convert videos I fell deeper in love with my religion and was convinced to read the Quran! I’m soooo glad I came across your videos years ago because it influenced me to look deeper into my religion as I saw someone who knew nothing about Islam seemed to be more passionate about it than I was, someone who was born muslim you know.
