I used the same TH-cam channel. They use little pictures/images to help you remember the characters, which is super helpful. Like, the hiragana for "ko" looks like two kois (the carps).

Vietnamese uses Latin alphabet, so even though i'm 100% Asian, it's still very hard for me to learn languages like Chinese, Japanese or Korean because i'm more used to the Latin writing system like in English. But the pronunciation is easier tho 😂
