Would love it if u made an updated playlist on HTML and CSS and show us what the best practices are for creating elements like the navbar and other things.
Not sure if you still read comments on videos as old as this one, but thought I would try. I created a contact file and added everything from the main page, but when I click the contact us link it says File Not Found. Could you help? I paid $200 for another course and I have so far received far more from you on here! Absolutely love your content. I am trying to go the self-taught route I hope.
good video ... however I can't seem to find any clear teaching on using flags, tags, bookmarks, id's from an external reference .... for example if I want to give someone a specific marker to a place holder deep down in a webpage, an anchor used to be able to do that .., now all the references I see on anchors are about using 'within' the same page. Does HTML 5 no longer allow simply extending the URL reference to 'include' the bookmark at the end when given as an external link?
I'm currently having an issue with brackets where I can't make any new files or folders. With files I get the message "An error occurred while trying to create the file (file name). The target directory cannot be modified." And with folders the message is "An error occurred when trying to make the directory (name). (Error NotReadable0." Any advice on what to do?

He copied the “Contact Us” and tags into the body of the well formatted html document “contact.html”. Also the “freshwater-fish-prices.html” is also a new well formatted html document (doctype, html, head, body … etc.)
The files you create on brackets ARE your PC files, brackets just has a navigator for your project folder (which is on your pc). So it should be the same thing man

Rita Theunis Hi Rita, sorry for the delay in answering you! When I say the 'pound' symbol, I actually mean this - # - not to be confused with the other pound symbol! I suppose I could call it a hash symbol to remove confusion :).
Hi, my name is Riyon Joseph I was trying to make a new page as you told clicking to the Right mouse button to make a new folder. But there was an error occurred when trying to create the directory untitled-2. ( error NotReadable) so what can I do? Could help me!
Very hard to follow every video, if between videos you have created multiple folders with content and now just tell that it's done and we should be.able to follow up on it easily

When i try to add my pdf file it takes me to files on pc and not the one i created on brackets. Any suggestions?

The Net Ninja I heard a pound-symbol so I thought (and even saw) a pound-symbol - now, after a closer look the hash-symbol it there indeed!
£ thats a pound symbol. i have seen a few tutorials refer to the # symbol as pound, is this normal?

I have the same problem, I cannot create a new file of a new folder. I'm still trying to solve the problem.. have you solved yet?
