Can you compare the SS Reserve edition with the GM Brava (606 or 808)? Its really hard to get info online and i cant really go in to a cricket shop. My special shot is a lofted drive, and pull shots. I am a finishing batsman and normally try to play hard as soon as i step up to the crease. The Brava seams to have a longer meat but the SS ton has a lot concentrated at one point. Please assist me?
Any signs to look for to make sure it’s a real GM bat? I bought a Chroma and it’s either not knocked or it’s fake. Hoping it’s the former. But any signs?
Hi, thanks for your question. There are still loads of pros using these brands - there is now probably just more of a wide range of brands used by professionals.
I am looking to buy my first ever cricket bat but have no idea what I want or what will suit me best, do you recommend just going to a cricket shop and holding a few different ones
Almost like a Noir and Chroma hybrid - the swell is similar position to the Noir and it has the full profile of the Chroma. The Kryos is almost like the Diamond/Chroma hybrid
Stickers make bats look different Majority of these bats have the same shape… I use to love GM bats so much, but their bats are too dry. They dry it in a kiln instead of natural air drying… I still have a gm hero LE home. I actually hate cricket these days, I was a guy that really love my cricket 🏏 but the spirit dying out …
Kilns are needed to dry the clefts out as consistently as possible in a timely manner. I think they normally aim for between 10-12% moisture content, which isn't really overly dry. Unfortunately not quite got the climate to dry naturally in a practical way in England. Even the clefts sent overseas are generally kiln dried to a certain extent before exporting.
@@ch4d0kun send them to Florida and open up a shop here 😂 I remember bats back then were thin but heavy and had plenty juice… now the big and sound ridiculous 😂
Brava is my choice for practice bat, no edge chipping on that for sure. And I quite like the Hypa as a Noir replacement. Thanks for the great review.
Good choice! its a fantastic range!
Kryos is the best shape but should be 555mm rather than 540mm.
Why did they discontinue Chroma? I love it

Sir, which one you will preferred for an opener.. please reply
Which one is better? Brava or hypa?
Can’t wait for kooka and gray nics
Coming Soon!
Is the hypa ready to play or does it need further knocking in and if so can it be knocked in with a machine
Every bat needs knocking in regardless of if GM say they're ready to play or not

But predominantly bat used by most players today is SS, New Balance, SF. But why many top pros are not using GM, Gray Nichols or Kokubura ?

Hi Conor,
Yes, would always suggest visiting a cricket specialist and holding the bat etc. Good luck with your selection.
Super looking, superb quality, super length bat
Which bat from the new range is the closest to the chroma?
The brava if u got power
It is a beast!
Why wasn’t the maestro on there?
I was expecting this ...Good work..sir
Respect from India 🙏
Thank you Mayur 😃
They keep saying noir shape but it looks a replica of the Chroma not the Noir
This is what we have been told by Gunn & Moore themselves
