I could never figure out why the Girls never made it bigger. Nina has a voice that can do just about anything. I want to marry her.

Listening to you talk about what your intentions were when you wrote these songs brings me back to what first hit me when I was fortunate enough to find GIAC. It was the songs, the lyrics and the passion and conviction you sang them with. Nothing sounded like it was a throwaway line to fit a rhyming scheme or fill a space, you had something on your mind, something you were feeling that you needed to get out. Then with the tightness that the combination of Phanie and Jenn as a rhythm section that locked in with your guitar playing it felt like the perfect combination of song and performance that made it more than just something to groove to. It felt meaningful and important and made me think and for that I thank you.

This song still hits for me. I absolutely love it. There is something so positive and hopeful about this song. It always makes me smile and makes me happy! The world is blessed to have you still out there making music. Also, a few years ago, you recorded a cover of "Lucky" by Kat Edmonson for me. I listen to it all the time. It still sounds amazing!!!!!! Best of luck to you!

I found this video at the perfect moment, it’s my birthday/solar return in eight minutes. I found GIAC at age 14, in grade 9. There is something cathartic happening within me when I realize how much has transpired since then, and all the times GIAC soundtracked the strange/uncomfortable/beautiful-in-a-way moments that make up the fiber of all of our lives. I have to grow up now, once and for all, and leave many things in the past. But music- beautiful music like this-it’s embedded in my heart forever. Love you Nina, and I will support any of your future endeavors.

Glad to see that your uploading these to TH-cam, up until about a month ago I didn't have Instagram, and after the release of your solo thinks might have gotten darker and that was why you hadn't released anything new in a while. Then was glad to see that the stuff was on Instagram, TH-cam and other places can get mean and creepy, stay positive and creative. :)

That was my favorite song from that record Exits and All the Rests. I remember when the band would usually play it in the middle of their set. One time Nina sang the whole song in Spanish.
