    Very helpful, thank you for clearing up all those options. You forgot to mention one of the most important feature of the smart view no other phone has, it's the ability to actually click on and control all those apps with a tv remote control on tv screen. Nether chromecasting not mirroring allow that, so basically you can use your phone as a media center for your tv.

    Thanks for the video, very helpful. But I have a question. So I just got the new zfold and tab s8, trying to screen mirroring to my old samsung smart tv. When I start mirroring my device to my tv. The tv will say connecting to the device I'm trying to do it with. The screen turns black and on the bottom left a message will appear saying screen mirroring ends. When I got the Tab s8. It will work for 2 weeks. After that, I been having the problem. When I do this with my old phone and tablet. I will connect with no problem. Do you know how I can fix it. I did the connect to target device and still don't work.

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm, that sounds very odd. Usually that's caused by an incompatibly with the mirrorcast version between devices. If you're able to cast to another TV to rule out if it's an issue with the z fold or tab s8, that would be ideal. I almost feel like your tab s8 must have got an update that's not allowing it the backwards compatibility needed by the device, but I could way off. I'd start with that test first, happy to try and troubleshoot this with your further if things still seem off.

    Are the texts of Samsung Book 2 Pro 360 not as sharp and bright as Apple’s MacBook pro? Is the area between the two hinges just below the display of flexes/bends a lot?
    Why we have to copy and paste the URL or send it to via Quickshare just to view information on a particular webpage from Samsung phone to pc/laptop? In Apple’s MacBook, you can view webpages/websites automatically from iPhone to MacBook. You do not have to copy paste the URL or tap to phone link. This has only happened because Apple uses the same web browser i.e. SAFARI in their phone, tablet and pc. Samsung do not have the “Samsung Internet browser” for their pc/laptop till now. Samsung should also make a browser for pc in order to make continuity features from phone to pc as good as Apple.

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching! The text won't be as clear, per se, but it it looks pretty good regardless since it's an OLED panel. The hinge does have some flex if you grab it between the 2 hinges you gotta be careful with it.
      I agree with you 100% on Samsung needing to come out with their browser on the laptops, it would make the experience much more seamless.

    I wanted to ask Is Galaxy book 2 pro 360 HDR display? Will I be able to watch HDR movies on it?
    Also will Samsung 980 pro SSD really boost the performance on this device?

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, it does support HDR, I believe version 10+. The display will max out at 500 nits brightness when playing HDR content, so about 100 nits brighter than standard SDR content.
      The 980 Pro is a really nice SSD, and you will likely see a pretty good improvement using it. The chipset on this capped at PCI Gen 3, but you'll still see an improvement using that SSD. If you're installing it in the extra slot, make sure to get size 2230. If you're replacing the main SSD already installed, you can go with a larger 2280 sized SSD.

    How can I take advantage of the full 3088x1440 pixels of the Galaxy S23 Ultra while using it as a secondary screen for my Windows laptop?

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To the best of my knowledge, you can't. There's a cap on the resolution to help keep the speed up, to help keep lag down. There might be a work around, but I'm not sure what that is if it exists.
      One thing you can try though is to install the Second Screen from Samsung on your laptop, and start the session using it. It expands the image to fill the entire screen on the receiving device, but I've only tested it with galaxy tables and not any of the phones yet.

      That's a great question. I haven't personally tried it, but I found this (you can skip the 2 first steps on most galaxy phones, SmartThings will already be installed):
      Make sure your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
      Download the SmartThings app on your device.
      Open the SmartThings app.
      Tap Add Device.
      Select your TV or scan for a TV nearby.
      Tap on your TV and connect to your device.
      Tap on your connected TV and tap More Options.
      Find Smart View settings.
      Click Smart View.
      Click the Mirroring option.
      Click Next.
      Click Continue.
      Select the TV's name.

      It depends on the app. For youtube for example, once you start casting, it should keep casting as long as you don't close out of it completely. Some apps require "focus", so to speak, and you won't be able to minimize them. But most apps that support casting natively will let you keep casting while doing other tasks. Thanks for watching!

    How to change to full screen mode?

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The closest you'll get is to into your Settings -> Home Screen, and towards the bottom there will be an option to view home screen in landscape mode. Once this enable and you turn your phone to landscape, it will fill up most of your TV's screen, but not all of it. That's a limitation of the difference between the aspect ratio between your TV and your phone.
      Most of the galaxy tablets get you close with a 16:10 aspect ratio, but you'll still have black bars since you're TV is 16:9. It would start to look weird if they tried stretching it.

      As long as it supports mirrorcast or DLNA, it should work fine. Thanks for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply.

      The number one reason it can be laggy at times is poor wifi connectivety. Hopefully moving a little closer to your router helps. Thanks for stopping by!

    SCREEN MIRROR BUT SCREEN PERMANENT “ON” IN THE PHONE. DO YOU HAVE ANY SOLUTION FOR THAT?

    • @RADERTECH
      @RADERTECH  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, there is a fix for that. Open up the Smart View settings (3 dots in top right corner), and there will be an option to turn the phone screen off. Please note that you have to have an active Smart View connection going in order to change that setting.

      Yes!!! You rock! Just tried it and it works like a charm. I'm right in the middle of doing a video about video editing on book3 pro 360, but I'm goint to stop in my tracks to put out an update video for this. Thank you so much, I'm giving you full props in it!
