Good teaching story! Using charms, spells, & love potions to make someone love you is stripping that person of their free will! You’ll never know if that person could ever really love you naturally. My sister in law is hatian and she said this practice is still done in Haiti.

The steps mother was not deserving of anything good. We have to stop rewarding/ forgiving bad behavior, bad character. This is what annoys me the most in the movies or stories. Turning the other cheek is not always the best thing. The husband didn't need to give them money or go back to properly marry, she was not her mother in any sense.

This story gives hope to the use of charms 👎🏾 He could have forgiven her he didn't have to and moved on. Yet this story gave her what she wanted after subjecting him to her will through manipulation. 👎🏾
