I feel ya on the age thing. When I started playing, every player was at least 30 years older than me. Now half the time I'm lucky if one player is older at my table.
"Big Slick" is an accurate name given to an AK, HOWEVER....it was initially applied to ONLY the Ace King of Spades suited. That is...the original Big Slick. Trust me. Been doing this since 1983. In this vlog I saw Zero examples of actual Big Slick. But I did see a "Little Slick" once @ 13:23, also an accredited name from the past.

Well, if there's any silver lining to your session today, I note your loss this time around wasn't as bad as previous Vegas sessions of yours--that and the Kalashnikov finally held up for you when you needed it most. As for Big Slick, I haven't heard that term in awhile since whenever you mention Slick, I think of a certain, still-MIA Peppermill regular.

House in Summerlin”. That’s probably true (not that anyone wants a 25k house). Thankfully, you missed his rendition of Elvis and Sinatra (the floor let him get in 3 times that morning) 😂

Cant fold AK there. Thats scared money! Why are u even calling pre flop if u are gunna fold when u hit top top on the flop? Just makes no sense at all. Call ALL DAY! Yes just to chop! Chopping and splitting the other dudes money is way better than losing 200 in that spot when u fold!

I play at Maryland Live near Baltimore. Player ages are pretty evenly spread out amongst young, middle, and older...

My understanding is that any suited AK is 'Big Slick'. The unsuited variety has been called 'Walking back to Houston'.

I’m aware of that. Most of the other songs he did were Beatles. I just got that one on camera.
