The moment a sheriff, not to mention a scourge too, went missing I would have dipped. You’re telling me that the kindred who’s job is to enforce the princes will through, let’s be honest, violence or threat of violence, didn’t just get offed (assuming) but disappeared without a trace? Nah I’m out. The primogen are the icing on the sinking ship.

Chaos is a ladder. I'd have seen the disappearances as job vacancies and look how I can prove themselves where another has failed were I playing a character with that sort of skillset

What a cool coterie +ST. Just what I needed after L.A. by night is now one episode before it’s ending. 😕 Wouldn't have believed that Cynthia could switch her character that much and still knock it out of the park. Need more. 😃

I had no idea that was Cynthia Marie at first. I love L.A. by Night and Nelli G. is one of my all time favorites from the game, I had no idea. Great job on the Gangrel look!
Outstar, as always it was awesome watching you play. I found my self routing for your Tremere which is crazy cause... Tremere, lol.
Franklin was so enticing as a neonate Ventrue. I find them as a highly under rated clan. DIMPLESNDICE, you did the clan justice and when you came out with stigmata I was like, WTF, great job.
PHERBEAR, wonderful portrayal of a modern Banu Haquim. I love the attitude and the directness.
As an ST I would have been thrilled to have any or all of those characters in my game. Thanks for such a great show.

awesome game I just love how Franklin's player keeps his composure with a cat tail in his face :D just started watching but wanted to give a supportive comment
The setup of the mission was a bit over the top maybe. Sheriff and Scourge and multiple Primogen are gone? Everybody was immediately questioning themselves what they are supposed to do or could do about it. It was also weirdly specifically targeting the counsel. Missing neonates and a sheriff busy with hunter threats would have done the trick as well I thing.
Other than that one moment, it was a great one shot. Very emersive.
I did that on purpose l, hoping one of the players would want to maybe find out why so many could have gone missing under the Prince's nose.

I was hoping they were actually Sabbat operatives but the more I’m watching the more that’s not happening.

This is a One Shot based on a story seed within the V5 Sabbat book.
Also Sabbat are absolutely completely not presented as not for PCs and all their material is presented from an ST perspective. You cant really make Sabbat PCs
@@Huddyvonschland I can't help but feel that the message got muddied along the way. As most of what I have seen has thought that this was going to be a sabbat focused game. As though they were playing as sabbat characters.
Even saying "based on v5 sabbat" makes it sound that way. Perhaps naming it based on the oneshot itself, or something else would have been more accurate to the end product.

V5 sabbat do not have any clans. There meant to be antagonists only.
@@LloydSkyLion After they already had them as playable for many years? Nah. Terrible decision. If anything they should of just done the sabbat book for PCs and antagonists and possibly even had it in "Black Dog" style with warnings how Sabbat are definitely for mature players only.
@@geek4u869 nobody seems to be happy about it. You can still make Lasombra characters and Tzimisce. But, now the Sabbat' treat the concept of Antitrubu differently. To join the Sabbat' is to renounce your clam, the Sabbat' packs define themselves by paths instead.
@@LloydSkyLion Did it say WHY the change on that? Honestly v5 is a lot of hit and miss with me. Some stuff is good and some stuff is bad.
@@geek4u869 Thing is, the Anarchs in V5 have effectively become what the Sabbat were. The opposition sect to the Camarilla, that fought them for territory and opposed them when possible. The combination of the Brujah, the Gangrel and the Ministry/Setites as the three flagship clans in the Anarchs give them a brutal edge with a vaguely religious aspect, and the way they incorporate 'free' versions of other clans, like the Red Nosferatu, the Free Ventrue, the Ipsissimus Tremere etc, feels much like the old Sabbat's Antitribu led by the Lasombra and Tzimisce.
I can imagine they'd done all this work on writing the Anarchs as a credible opponent to the Camarilla, and then realised - the Sabbat as a player faction would effectively be a repeat of the Anarch stuff they'd just come up with.
Rather, the Sabbat've become one of the two main 'outside' antagonist forces of V5. On the one hand, there's the Sabbat, the monstrous force that represent the dangers of getting too close to the Beast. And on the other, there's the Second Inquisition, representing the dangers of getting too close to Humanity. They work to put pressure on PC vamps at both ends, leaving them to have to walk the line between.
Ventrue: I have two guns a big one and an expensive one. Banu Haqim: I, too, have two guns just 9mm... ...oh and some daggers. Gangrel: I have claws and teeth. Tremere: I have sharp things for rituals, white ribbons and blood.
So, not hating or anything, It's Huddy's story and she is of course free to change a few things but, dominate is not supposed to work the way Franklin used it, to interrogate, correct?
When you command "tell me everything you know about x thing" the person will either repeat the phrase "everything you know about x thing" or just do nothing. Presence also doesn't work on animals, does it?
Again, I'm genuinely curious cuz that may be something, a phrasing os smth on the book I'm missing

I Didn't got to this part yet, but I can say, by the ingredient that you mentioned, that is probably Coax the Garden, a Bahari Blood Sorcery Ritual.

It was my understanding the Sabbat in v5 were written exclusively to serve as NPC antagonists? They didn't even have any rules for how to mechanically play a Path of Enlightenment.

At first I really thought that game was based on the fan-made Sabbat book that was released on ST Vault. The official Sabbat book is so bad I kinda forgot it exists

So dominate and presence working on animals is just a thing for this one shot or have i misunderstood that presence and dominate is for controlling humans and animalism is for controlling animals. Whatever you feel like doing i suppose. :)
I really enjoyed the AP, Huddy is an awesome storyteller. The players are of course also awesome.
I think if you know animalism together with presence or dominate these disciplines can complete each other.
Why did you cut out the Sabbat as PCs? Why did you ditch the Tzimisce and fill it in with a sham mockery of the "Tzimisce Bloodline" of the Gangrel? Why did you also destroy Vicissitude and neuter it down to some dissident Protean use? Why are the Sabbat based guerrilla fighters? Why did the clans all of sudden get along and form a new clan after absolutely hating each other? Why does any of this gain ground? Why are we sticking with a game of "personal horror" for Vampire when we all know it should be the Werewolf line (which should be a curse btw) that is the Personal Horror genre?
There are so many other things that ruin the setting in V5. I'll stick to uneven game rules but superior setting in V20 or Revised.
I really really wanted V5 to be a continuation of V20....but it was just another Requiem. No thanks.
