Nah the anesthesia wore off so fast on me by the time I got off the seat I was practically back to normal, also People say it was painful af I only took 1 pain killer each day for 2 days. 😂

That was the biggest adrenaline rush I've ever had in my life, it felt like I was going to kill everyone in the room.

this is actually not true! I had to get my wisdom teeth cut out and I was so worried about this but you are still able to listen to instructions while under anesthesia. I also read that you only say things that you would if you were awake. A lot of people have this fear but an example would be this man that works at a bank wouldn’t give the code to the safe when his family was testing him. It’s kind of strange how it works!!

My oldest daughter when she was little, coming out of surgery for ear tubs, was absolutely wild. She was 4 and came out swinging and then crying. I couldn't get her to calm down, and the nurse, bless her, took her on her lap, sat in a rocking chair and rocked her and she instantly calmed down. I felt so helpless as a mother in that moment.
Don't feel helpless, keep in mind that the nurse deals with that type of thing all the time, she knows a few tricks... you were a first time mother and had never had a kid in surgery before. Experience is king... or queen as the case may be. :)
Aww I'm sure that nurse has seen it all and at least she knew exactly what to do. My daughter had to get eye surgery February of 2023 and when she woke up she was very emotional and in a LOT of pain. Mind you, she was only 4 years old at that time. . My heart just broke for her. She was throwing up too because they gave her morphine for the pain. So it was just such a rough time for her. She had stitches in her eyes and I had to keep her from rubbing them. I'm just glad that's over with. The anesthesia makes them even more uncomfortable but it's worth it in the end so they aren't suffering through that pain. 🙏🤕 Thank God for the nurses and doctors that do such a good job taking care of our loved ones.

I had the same reaction where I was mostly normal when I woke up, but my older brother, who is the least attention seeking of all us kids, was talking about kicking Goliath’s azz. They’re not fake.

I actually woke up during the surgery, it was the most painful thing ever. I remember them seeing me awake and they said, "Shit! Give her another dose!" I do still have my wisdom teeth though lol 😂😂 but yea that was scary. Also when I woke up in the middle of it, I saw ten doctors above me when there were only three. I was fucked up on whatever they gave me. Then they gave me a bunch of oxycodone.. which fucked me up all the more 😭😭 I couldn't even stand up.
